I normally get up 1-2 times. Typically I'm able to go right back to sleep, hope that doesn't change for a long time.

Shouldn't need to be that long of a window, like 2 hours should be enough.

3-4 times most nights - Sometimes to go toilet sometimes for no reason.

It can take ages to fall back asleep as well.

Occasionally sleep through but that's rare.

I don't.

I'm one of those people who naturally only needs 4-5 hours. I have deep, high quality sleep. Even with drinking a pint of milk just before I go to bed, I sleep solid and then get up to start my day.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

Once to piss, probably 4-5 out of 7 nights. Sleep through other nights. Rarely 2-3 but it's because I drank a chit ton of water.

You are taking too many supplements.

I piss 1-2x. Was worse when I took minerals each day. Or salt.

I wake up at 3, piss, drink protein, back to bed, then sometimes acid reflux messes with me, more so if I had decaf coffee. I take protein before bed and no reflux then.

surprised to hear how many people wake up multiple times per night

once i'm asleep, i'm absolutely no questions asked, out cold for at least 6 hours, usually clear through the night. i might toss and turn a bit once the sun comes in my window but that's at 7-8 hours already

i'd say maybe once a week i wake up at 4 or 5 am to piss then knock right back out.. and i'm on a diuretic

Too many times. My 4 year old still co-sleeps in our bed. Usually go to bed around 11p but for some reason I always wake up around 3-3:30a. Then just as I’m going back to sleep my husband kisses me bye on his way out for work at 4:30a. Then my alarm goes off at 5:30a. No sleep for me lol.

Cut out all caffeine and stimulants like pre workouts and post workouts. Take ZMA.

This is what I do and have uninterrupted sleep and pee still clear when I wake up. As long as you hydrate properly throughout the day (at least 3 litres)

Mostly none, other than sometimes waking up to a raging boner & have to rub one out.

Quit caffeine & take a piss before bed = 10/10 sleep

I can't believe how many of you are ok getting horrible sleep. It is honestly pathetic that you guys aren't doing everything in your power to fix it.

I guess you should start with researching and learning just how important sleep is for health, longevity, sanity.

Mind blown.

It is normal (or should be) and natural to go to sleep and wake up 7-9 hours later well rested.

Some common culprits:
- Too much visual stimulation from screens. Blue light seriously fuks with your brain and makes good sleep difficult. Try blue light blocking glasses, or just avoid screens altogether a few hours before bed. Read a book instead.
- alcohol and drugs (since I quit alcohol I've never slept better in my life)
- if you are waking up to pee multiple times per night, that's not normal. Figure out what your issue is, and if necessary, just don't drink anything for a few hours before bed.

Something that immediately noticeably improved my sleep was a grounding mat:
https://www.earthing.com/collections/january-sale

Anyway, if you're not sleeping well, fixing that should be your #1 goal in life right now srs.
