Okay cool, will check that out. Those are the correct terms for UK right?
I'm still not sure what the hate on opioids is. People mention it, it obviously exists out there, but it sounds like a death sentence to people?
Makes sense, I'm thinking in terms of their qualifications. Some doctors have 40 plus years of knowledge/experience and can find a patient with an extremely 1 in a billion disease and the doctor would say they've seen it 10 times already lol. Some doctors read by the book and are stumped easily :/ I've noticed that and have asked for a few 2nd opinions.
So, with all that I've mentioned on this thread, what would you do in terms of an action plan? (Clearly my decisions have gotten me nowhere)
Thanks.

As I've said, most of the doctors I have met seem legit autistic to me, and I understand what autism is. I'm not using it as a joke or insult. They are people who can remember things well, but have no insight.
So, as doctors, they are like an autistic chef. They know the recipes for a hundred different types of cakes but not how to change the flavor or understand why anyone would want to eat them.
That's why most doctors know nothing about health. They know diagnosis, they know treatments, but they don't know anything about being healthy. Most doctors can't tell you half of what most miscers know about staying fit, eating, etc. That's because the doctor is an autistic memory machine.
Other doctors are narcissistic elitists who think they're superior to others.
I started out teaching mentally retarded people. Many doctors would not treat them because it was a waste of time. We had to find a Catholic doctor who believed in god and he would help the MR patients.
If you take that story, you can see how doctors would do medical experiments on black people, jews, and so on.
As I've noted, my gf has been kicked around for years but she is in pain all the time and not at her full power. I met her seven years ago and she was a tall beautiful redhead. As the pain grew her personality was affected, she lost weight because she couldn't walk to get food, and so on. So, she is poor and not vital looking, thus she is a "scum" not even worth ordering medical records for, because they can't be real!
Doctors are scum because they are humans provided with too much power.
Nurses are way worse.
I had to laugh are how people during the whole "covid" and "vaccine" thing were worshipping "doctors" and "science" all of which are a joke I've had direct experience with.

op you need to strengthen TF out of your core. you need to do the mcgill 3 every fking day. read the back mechanic - stu mcgill is the best back expert around. he worked with a powerlifter whose career was basically done due to back issues, the guy was able to recover and then went on to squat 1300 lbs.

That's good to hear that PT works, is your PT very experienced? I'm thinking that I may have gotten a lousy one.
Can you give some info on whats in the back mechanic? Surely it isn't any different to what's in random articles?
Thanks.

Doing improper lumbar and spinal loading for years(APT is VERY often associated with this) will definitely result in tons of spinal issues and long term pain.
DO NOT start doing RDLs. Learn to STRENGTHEN and activate ALL supporting muscles and chill on ANY spinal loading movements. You can isolate your legs, glute, and back muscles without needing to load your spine. Do chest supported rows, leg press, hack squats, leg extensions, leg curls, and for you ESPECIALLY LEARN TO HAVE CONSTANT MUSCULAR TENSION, SLOW DOWN ALL YOUR MOVEMENTS and keep the tension on the muscles. More muscular strength and activation = less spinal activation and inflammation
Also lots of people say strengthen your core, this is incorrect, strengthen the FUK out of your glutes and leg muscles and this will take TONS more stress off your back/spine.

Hmmm, I did RDLs like 2 hours ago. Usually in deadlifts people go on about the "rounding", mine was the exact opposite and it would cave in/arch at the lumbar when it got heavy. I had a thick brace too. My 1rm was even arched, never heard of that before. What's going on? I know it's probably my APT, but how come my lower back doesn't round under heavy load?
Aren't RDLs just hamstring/glute exercises? Why not do it?
I don't know, a lot of the exercises for APT are designed for grandpa's with 0 everything. (I did every exercise for it, didn't work so hence my dismissive attitude)
Hmmm, my plan for APT was just to static stretch the rectus femoris and lower back before RDLs. A lot of the exercises you mentioned sound like the would exacerbate APT with the quad training mentioned?
Thanks.

excelled at baseball, football and basketball
the reason why i'd maybe say so is you're particularly vulnerable when young and your body is growing. so, maybe it caused issues?? dunno
i went to a private school and my backpack was super heavy. like probably 60 lbs.
i do think it got a lot better when i worked my core.
i'm telling you the physical therapy was alllllllll ab work. not anything else. the sessions were entirely abs. they literally wanted you to fart and throw up by working the stomach so hard
it was nuts the amount of ab exercises
i'm not sure whether my body has always been in shape since then or what. i didn't do squats much back then either and legs are my favorite now, so maybe it's that too?
so maybe combine what jestbrah said and the ab work. so legs + glutes + abs
Gym wise, can you do all the lifts fine?
yea. i don't go too heavy on squats though. i dont really see a reason for iti've never really done deadlifts
if anything hurt me i'd 100% stop

She's been accused of being a drug addict and whatnot, and she's not on any opiates!
This part of her looking beat down, having poor people insurance, and claiming to have a back injury.
As I have said, four places that I know of LIED about trying to get her medical records. They just didn't even bother to look into it. Meanwhile, I got them and now have proof of her injuries after making a call to the company that housed her records.
Meanwhile, as I have noted, I have 33 years of experience working in medical facilities.
If you want to hear devilish conversations with zero humanity, sit with some nurses and hear them talk. I have listened to hours and hours of them hating patients with great passion.
It's disgusting.
I worked in a drug rehab a few years ago. They had one floor for MA clients (poor people) and another for private insurance clients. They got luxuries, the poor did not.
There were ghetto dudes working on the poor floors and they were sexually assualting the poor female clients at night. Also, the poor men and women were all housed on the same floor. So, in the middle of the night poor women with mental problems had male patients having sex with them.
I brought this up to the owners and it was like "What? I can't hear you" and so on.

I never thought about nurses. I suppose their motivation is common sense.
Both seem unreasonably overconfident a lot.
I think separating classes makes sense most of the time. I would not want to interview 5 illiterate men for every Harvard graduate for a job.
How do you feel resilient fighting the things you see? Do you do anything in particular?

It's that doctors have a high amount of narcissism due to their social station.
Narcissism is when a person feels inferior, knows it, but acts like they are superior. In that respect, doctors are typically "nerds" who did a certain thing, study, to obtain very high authority. A truly confident person knows they don't know and knows what they do not, so a confident person is easy to get along with.
The sociological studies I read were focused on Iatrogenesis which is illness created by doctors. That's because narcissistically, doctors will stick to their ideas about you, even if wrong, and ESPECIALLY if you tell them they are wrong.
That was happening with my gf. Her illness has been prolonged by many years due to this behavior.
The Dunning thing is just claiming to be an expert when you really haven't studied the subject. Doctors have studied but due to "ego" they will follow a negative path just to avoid having to correct themselves or listen to patients who know their body.
Nurses:
My observation is that nurses do not like doing their job.
Their job is to respond to the needs of people. So, they turn patients into "a$$holes" so they don't have to help them.
With nurses, all patients are lying, faking it, making it up, etc.
I once had a client of mine having a stroke in my office and I ran to the nurses. They denied he was having a stroke without seeing him, and said they saw him earlier in the day and he wasn't having a stroke. I shouted HE'S HAVING A STROKE GET INTO MY OFFICE NOW!
Of course he was having a stroke and needed his brain operated on.
That's 99% of all nurses I have ever worked with.

Can you give some info on whats in the back mechanic? Surely it isn't any different to what's in random articles?
Thanks.

They're avoiding trouble with the docs' arrogance and the nurses' acting to protect a status quo without a lot of responsibility to restrain anything.
I see both docs and nurses too big for their britches. I do not know if they believe it or if it is part of the other social dynamics.

I used to "party" with a bunch of nurses and they were all like old soldiers, used to do a lot of drugs, and were very promiscuous. They seemed like women who like disgusting things, like women who would want to look at your pimple. There's actually a show about popping boils. I'm sure men aren't watching.
Alternately, I have met a lot of therapists in psych who grow to hate their job and clients. I think that's because they wanted to change the world and get angry when people with mental problems are resistant. So, they blame the clients instead of their expectations.
So, imagine being a nurse and being asked for ginger ale a hundred times a day along with all of the other requests. Instead of being happy to help it would be easier to hate. Of course, hate is toxic for the emotional health of the nurse but dangerous for patients who can't help being annoying and need help.
Again, it's perverts and disappointed people making human services somewhat dangerous.
I've seen this on Food Network shows about restaurants. After cleaning the ice cube maker 10,000 times, the workers give up and it gets filled with mold. One guy thinks he's beating the system and the other is just too worn out to clean it.

have you tried throwing the kitchen sink at bullet proofing ur back and core
start training core every day. Leg raises, planks, side planks, bird dogs, dragon flags etc etc
thats what helped me fixed my back
then I added in reverse hypers to build my glutes
also foam rolling/macgill stretching

i went to a private school and my backpack was super heavy. like probably 60 lbs.
i do think it got a lot better when i worked my core.
i'm telling you the physical therapy was alllllllll ab work. not anything else. the sessions were entirely abs. they literally wanted you to fart and throw up by working the stomach so hard
it was nuts the amount of ab exercises
i'm not sure whether my body has always been in shape since then or what. i didn't do squats much back then either and legs are my favorite now, so maybe it's that too?
so maybe combine what jestbrah said and the ab work. so legs + glutes + abs
yea. i don't go too heavy on squats though. i dont really see a reason for it
i've never really done deadlifts
if anything hurt me i'd 100% stop

Yeah, at 13 I wasn't quite a marine, so carrying around 13kg for hours a day was insanely hard, even for some gym men.
Damn, 60lbs is huge lol. I'm thinking that holding a heavy backpack pulled my shoulders back by force thus deactivating all of the postural muscles that are involved in bringing the scapular back? Sounds right now that I think about it. What do u think?
Yeah, I'm anyway doing what jestbrah said. With most movements you can engage a random set of muscles based on what you tense hard enough I guess.
So, how long did they have u training abs?
With all this physio training stuff, did you find that you're now less prone to injury or something?
So what do you train these days with your spinal stuff in mind?
Thanks.

Don't know what to say lol. Maybe you just live in a dodgy area? Either way that's some whacky stuff to hear!
So, if your partner is in pain, why don't u just chuck her on pain drugs like opiates as u mention? Better than nothing, the people in here are saying not to, so I'm taking their advice since they're older with more wisdom I guess. I may change my mind if all else fails, my reason for not hopping on drugs is because I have a ton of referrals coming up, so hopefully one of them gets to the root cause. I'm thinking it's physio type imbalances and poor movement patterns in day to day life.

I used to have a bulging disc. Gave me severe sciatica and got me addicted to codeine.
Then about 18 months later right when I was about to have surgery, the pain went away. And never returned at the same pain level. Worst it ever flared up was a 4/10 pain a 3 years ago after doing squats, at its peak it was a solid 8-10/10 pain.
Been 2 years since I've felt any sciatica at all. I put it down to doing daily cobra pose, used to get my gf to push down on my lower back while in that pose to try and get the vertebrae to squeeze the disc back into place. Guess it worked

I went to a wound specialist and asked for pain meds so I could sleep and walk. The doctor would not give me pain meds. He also had no idea how to help my wound.
So, I researched the sh!t out of it and figured out what was doing on and healed it myself.
For the pain, I bought Kratom and used large amounts of with 10 ibuprofen a day. I was afraid I was going to eat a hole in my stomach. I had to do all of that on my own because the doctor was very casual about it all and worried about the "opiate crisis".
Meanwhile, I'm like the most disciplined person you'd ever want to meet. I don't even drink coffee let alone drugs. I would never let myself get addicted to anything, I'm a psychotherapist, and I have worked with addicts, and so on. I'm really opposed to drug use but when a person is in great pain, that's what the drugs are for.
My gf can't get any drugs for the same reasons.
Once again it's a real challenge to get things done. But, what's puzzling is that I have known lots of drug addicts who get prescriptions for all kinds of drugs they don't need. I have trouble understanding.
