They shouldn't drive for 2 weeks instead.
It would be more effective than blocking up one city when it's nearly the weekend.

Each large city only has enough food in the supermarkets for 3 days.
Once people panic and start hoarding the supermarkets would be empty within one day.
Take a minute and see how much food you have stockpiled in your home right now.
The average person isn't going to be as well prepared as members of a health based forum.
There would be absolute chaos in all the major cities within a week.

This will be a nothingburger. I'd rather they set up an alternate funding account somewhere aside from woke pos gofundme so that we can donate to help financially support the trucker bros through a prolonged work stoppage. No supplies for Canada until mandates dropped and Trudeau steps down.

The sheer ego of the government telling people what they can and cannot do with their bodies.

There's already a severe truck driver shortage with the average age of a truck driver increasing every year and being a rough unhealthy lifestyle without the glamor of a social media influencer. Pays well though.

Self driving trucks are still at least 10 years away, this will be a logistics nightmare. Delivery trucks and trains will have to pick up the slack.

So apparently the Ontario police recorded the number of trucks passing when the convoy entered Ontario from Manitoba. It's 113 plus about 250 passenger vehicles. That's a pretty far cry from even a thousand, never mind the 10,000 number that some people are claiming are coming.

My guess is it ends up being about 250 trucks at the most and maybe 400 vehicles, which means about 1000 people. Barely enough to even cover the lawn at Parliament Hill.

Plus, people forget all these trucks have to line up to even get close to the protest. Supposedly the line of trucks is 70km long (which is a joke) - even a quarter of that length would have the guys in the back sitting in a line way out in the suburbs with no way to even get near Parliament Hill unless they hiked 10 miles.

I think a lot of this is going to be lol worthy but I can't wait to watch. And also someone estimated that even if the funding paid for hotels for a week for everyone currently accounted for there would be four million dollars outstanding. That's going to vanish into somebody's pocket. They are even asking for direct e-transfers now (which can't be reversed) for donations.
