going out for work drinks?

Sup, fellow autist here. so im looking to go out for drinks with some people at work. 4 of us total. me and this girl have been in the company for the same amount of time, a newer girl that started about 5 months ago and a new guy that started a couple weeks ago. i thought now was the best time so i sent them all an email asking if they'd be interested in going out for a drink on a friday after work. does this stuff acutally work or does it seem as weird and creepy. I quite like the girl that started 5 months ago she seems quite easy to talk to and i think we have a bit in common.

Both girls said they'd be interested and i haven't heard back from new guy yet.

inb4 i get called into HR aw fuk bye

Don't do it over an email. Just ask them in person when you're all talking or bitchin about work together. Saying "A Friday" is also different from "this Friday" or "today". If you like the one girl and have stuff in common with her, just ask her.

Have fun. Don't be an autist. Look people in the eye and smile and laugh at their stupid jokes. Ask the females about themselves, really anything works because its their favorite thing to talk about.

You will also 100% learn way more about them in 1 hour of having buzzed conversation than you will working with them for 1 year. So you'll find out if you and the girl could work or not.

Who tf uses email for casual talk or arranging to go for a drink lmao?

When it comes to work I only use emails strictly for formal reasons usually only with management/HR.

Don’t do it over a company email, dummy. And it is creepy. If anything, it should be a company thing. You’re making it look like a double-date.

Even if the guy doesn't go just go with the 2 girls for drinks. This isn't a date so treat it as just a night out. Don't have any high expectations just have fun. Since you say you kinda like one of the girls don't come on too strong especially when the drinks start flowing.

Also, let them talk a lot about themselves, because this will def happen , and just listen nod and laugh. Most girls love talking about themselves.
