Pre 2011 culture was so insane, what happened?



Couldn't find a picture without excessive pink colours lol.

First off, just check out how culturally perfect this picture is. Has a guy buff with a tribal tattoo, then a hairspray infested woman with giant hoop earrings and a leopard print bag.

When this show aired there was a fan base, as with any TV show.
I remember the woman in this picture used to brag about how she loved preying on/bullying other girls because it was funny, said it on the show and showed flash backs of her stamping on people's heads and stuff.
Nobody even cared back then, people just used to watch it and laugh and the world went around as normal. I swear most snobby bitch women used to be inspired and would emulate this behaviour pre 2011, it was awesome to see. Far cooler than the boring ****s these days.

Could only imagine the mental health cries and garbage that would errupt in this modern day. Rather peculiar since its changed so much in the past decade. Imagine Jackass stunts these days. Would be some blank canvass designed pussies texting all day.

Yeahh! I feel as if I missed out big time, that stuff looked so badass, destroys all modern culture.

I don't think the Jersey/Seaside people are enriched with this insane culture that separated them from the world anymore. I think they're just perfectly normal now, just like everyone else, why did that happen?

Nah. I barely follow anything "new" and "modernised" anymore and I am not even in my 30s. It's clear everything hit peak in mid 2000s

Honestly, I wish I was born in 2008, then 15 in 2010, 20 in 2010, 30 in 2010, then who cares about the rest. Perhaps also die in 2010. Ideally I'd say that 2005 sounds like a utopia, but I chose 2010 over it because 2010 culture was stronger and was perfect, plus, all of the yeara before 2010 was in existence in that year anyways.

Yeah man, I'm beggining the people who designed the WWE Jackass Jersey Shore were the real masterminds. I wonder what happened to them. I find it hard to believe that the creative minds behind it (born in the 60's/70's) turned retarded after 2013 too. Although I'm noticing that this weird retard behaviour isn't age relevant anymore, the clowns are in all age ranges, just more noticeable in people who are currently 18-25 now since they're sort of in the spotlight.

Easy....Social media took off. There was social media like ********, but no instagram, TikTok, Only fans etc yet so people's ego weren't hugely inflated yet.

This was around the time where you could still make controversial shows now everything would get cancelled. A show like Jersey Shore couldn't air right now...feminists would find a way to cancel it by blaming the guys on jersey shore for preying on women etc etc when they would go out to the clubs lol.

Life before 2012 social media boom was way better. You could argue chit was trash even after the iPhone in 2007, or even after 9/11 in 2001. But social media fuked up everything culturally.

I didn't even understand a lot of the terms you said. (I have heard of it, never looked further)

That is so absurd to me, how is anyone meeting anyone anymore these days? I swear the sex rate would've shot up back in 2010 with the whole Jersey type scene, definitely at an all time low in the 2020s. I mean, people are extremely awkward these days, just blank canvasses literally choking on their words. Never thought this kind of thing was even possible. Not even a "lol" moment, just plain disappointed.

(In the recent years, I've dialled down that music, TV, style, clothes, hair day to day life etc all entails some weird copy and paste culture. There is 0 variety, not like pre 2010)

Honestly, I never looked into anything at all post 2013. That's the 100% truth. I wear, watch, talk and do things all as if it were pre 2011. My phone is a Motorola Krzr, I read cereal boxes, I workout, I read BOOKS sometimes, etc. This is all 2nd nature and engraved into my mind at seeing my friends change along with the culture really confuses me.

Truthfully speaking, I feel a sense of inner embarrassment to even lay eyes on the clown trash these days. I avoid it as if it were a sport.

I can talk about Hannah Montana, Icarly then immediately switch topics to roids/mma/jackass. Cannot stand anything post 2013, there's just a certain pathetic aura surrounding it, I don't like it at all.

I just don't get where it went wrong. One day in early 2015 i just woke up and it was like this. Might have been very late 2014 but whatever. It was right after that Gamergate scandal.
