Irony being if it was first nations people doing this they'd be getting hosed down and arrested.

At least a GoFundMe got started for clean drinking water instead of paying for truckers' hotel rooms. I'd love to see the organizers of this protest donate some of their money towards people who actually need help rather than people who claim they have no rights with a roof over their heads, vehicles and full cupboards.

Got back from breakfast walk about 1 hour ago. Streets are still pretty full and should get busier since it seems like everyone is still waking up from their hangovers. I don’t think many people left seeing how many trucks are still here. Place is filthy tho. Piss snow, vomit, literal street ****, beer cans, masks, pizza boxes everywhere.

Feel sorta bad for the municipal government who has to deal with the aftermath. IMO, this is a federal problem. This is Trudeau’s problem and he should be reimbursing the city for all policing, cleanup, and crowd control costs. This is definitely going to hit the city budget hard otherwise.

Either way, **** Trudeau, and **** Trudeau commiecels.

Champlain bridge has been closed to all traffic since yesterday afternoon and may stay that way. It probably really depends how many people clear out after today. Everyone is saying work from home unless absolutely necessary.

Apparently police are opening "investigations" into the shenanigans last night, which means nothing will happen. Our police are about as effective as our politicians.

My buddy who lives right in the center of it says crowd is starting to grow again, at least with pickup trucks driving around.
