Simple question for you, on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate your health pre covid?

Yeah, i was scared of covid from the news when i got it, it was bad but i didnt get bronchitis which i usually get when sick. I stopped getting bronchitis when a nurse friend in 2005 told me to take NAC when i was in college, it worked when i was sick it would thin the mucous and i wouldnt get that nasty thick phlegm when id get a cold that would last for weeks.

In 2021 the fda warned companies about selling NAC and amazon pulled it, they do not want anyone taking it to help fight covid, they want us all vaxxed up.

Another point I brought up to my husband after thinking about it. The inventor of the Polio vaxx never patented his work to make a profit. He felt it was for the good of humanity to not do so. And yet here you have a new vaccine they’re making big bucks off of. Can’t help but feel like a Guinea pig being used just so someone can get rich.
Im unvaxxed and all my relatives who got sick were vaxxed and my cousin is boosted and they are all suffering from linger symptoms why im recovered and no more cough, no phlegm, no fatigue. My sister and bro both still got nasty coughs and its been weeks.

We were all at a birthday party and got sick with i think omicron since we got it early January in los angeles.

I hope this gives lasting immunity, i would go out daily in crowded stores with my mask and never got sick with covid until recent.

Whats weird is they emailed me to get vaxxed after three months after i had a positive test result saying the vaxx offers superior protection

You ****gits are getting annoying with this; not everything is fuking Covid

For the 100th time that's not Covid; most 90 year olds are asymptomatic within a week

You would had to have progressed to severe pneumonia to have symptoms lingering for weeks/months afterwards; I've seen it happenonceto a 49 year old smoker in 2 years

The reason everyone is catching/developing colds/sinus infections/Influenza is because of the decrease in human interaction for such a long period of time; average immune systems are weaker than ever

I know this sounds dumb as fuk regarding the cough, but attempt to NOT cough whenever you feel like it. Try relaxing and just avoid coughing. Try to keep it to the minimum

You have to realise that sometimes, we get sick and stay sick for 1-3 months throughout our lives. Some only once, some a few times, some many times

Influenza never went anywhere boyo; our MICU/ICU is literally packed with it just like every winter

It's normal for illness to vastly increase from November-February when it's coldest, weakens the immune system(the longer we social distance the worse it will get)

Omicron is definitely going around but 3+ weeks of illness it is not; sleep easy

Mine will be week 5 on Friday, haven't had a cold in years, but this "thing" has thrown me, got JJ back in April, that was it, which I guess equates to nothing... Never had a fever, mainly just the following:

-Congestion, head and chest
-Cough, feels like a tickle in my chest, if I move my torso, or breathe cold air, seem to flare it up
-Headaches, back of head, when standing
-Higher than normal resting pulse, usually in the 50s, now in the 80s
-Stomach upset
-Tirednes
-Sore throat some days, some days gone

The symptoms aren't horrible, just surprised how long they have lasted. My O2 levels have been prefect though, 97, 98, never really had any breathing problems. Just wait and see I guess.

You have omicron since your o2 levels are normal this why they call it mild because alpha and delta messed with your blood oxygen, but it really isnt mild its like a bad flu it was horrible for those seven days for me but I’m back to normal.

Are you vaxxed? Im not

Took me 2 weeks to feel normal. O2 dipped slightly to 95 on day 7. Went got steroids just in case. Went back to 97-98 the next day. It'll be a month this Saturday since I was symptomatic. Just thankfull my wife and parents didn't get sick.

I got the JJ back in April '21, so in those terms, I guess I'm not really... My symptoms haven't been horrible at all, just chronic and taking forever to resolve, also they come on in waves, some days I feel fine in the beginning and then later on, it hits again, so strange...

We've had covid going through our house over the last week. My wife got symptoms last week, started on Tuesday and confirmed with a rapid antigen test Wednesday. My youngest started getting symptoms Friday evening, confirmed with rapid test yesterday. They've both had what would be called "mild" symptoms in terms of hospitalization and whatnot, but they've been pretty sick. Headaches have been the worst thing for my wife, along with pretty bad fatigue, muscle pain, sinus congestion, and low grade fever that has come and gone. One morning of nausea. My youngest (11) has had a really bad sore throat, low grade fever, and sinus congestion. They're both vaxed.

I haven't done anything to limit exposure to my wife and we've been sleeping in the same bed every night since she started getting symptoms, so I've definitely been exposed to her. The extent of my symptoms has been a feeling of lightheadedness last Wednesday afternoon followed by two days of very mild sinus congestion. I tested negative on the rapid test Friday morning and have felt fine all through the weekend. My other two kids have had nothing. I got the JnJ vaxin April and a booster in December.

Sound like You got that long haul covid, its still lingering in your body and you havent flushed it. I read a girl had gut pain on her sides they found covid in there, id suggest not eating any sugar, or breads drink soups, ginger root tea, and avoid carbs, you gotta get that sucker out. Should have been pissed out, sweated out, or dumped it out by now.

It was a finger pulse ox. Yeah I noticed that it goes up after a second, but it was stagnant unless I was sitting up and leaning forward and then it would go 96 to 97. A week after that I was in the 97-99 range .

600mg of NAC, 2-3 times a day.

That said, I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice.

I dunno how many days since i had my first symptoms.... 19th or 20th of january.... So 11-12 days or so

Went mountain biking in sedona AZ yesterday and felt no issues. Tbh, i was mountain biking on day 3 of covid.... Id say my worst cardio impact was 2 days after 'symptoms' and i just was mildly fatigued while riding.

Gf is similar, back to full marathon training on day 6 after first symptoms.

Honestly im puzzled by how severe some people itt are.... Y'all need to get outside or SOMETHING. Sitting in your own uncirculated viral air cant be productive?

Haven't read the entire thread, but it is possible that some people ITT had Delta [or OG Covid] and you had omicron. Saying this because one of the main differences noted about omicron is that it stays more in the upper respiratory tract.
Michael Diamond, a virologist at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and his colleagues infected hamsters and mice with Omicron and other variants to track disease progression. The differences were staggering: after a few days, the concentration of virus in the lungs of animals infected with Omicron was at least ten times lower than that in rodents infected with other variants. Other teams have also noted that compared with previous variants, Omicron is found at reduced levels in lung tissue.

Pretty sure I had delta or something not omicron because my chest was feeling pretty tight for a minute.

Gf is similar, back to full marathon training on day 6 after first symptoms.

Honestly im puzzled by how severe some people itt are.... Y'all need to get outside or SOMETHING. Sitting in your own uncirculated viral air cant be productive?
Breathing helps too in fresh air people likely dont know about that you gotta work those lungs out
