Certainly not? I might be old but I haven't lost my mind yet. Up until just a few years ago (2015 I believe) they started every council meeting at City Halls all over Canada with the Lord's Prayer.

Edit - bet you didn't know "the strap" was legal in the 80's either. 2 of my friends got it from the principal for accidentally hurting another kid pretty bad when they were playing on ice. With zero done to actually add anything to the health care system, even though Doug Ford got billions from the feds to do so. That money has mysteriously been unaccounted for. Guaranteed right before the election he announces a major overhaul and adds all the things into the system people asked for, spending all that money so he can get re-elected.

Like every other country in the world so far, our ICUs and hospitals are dropping like crazy. We were just a few weeks behind. No surprise at all. But hopefully this time it means they get rid of restrictions like everywhere else.

Aw fuk. Ottawa police chief just has a news conference live. Just heard abit of it and looks like more arrests will be made soon, 3 so far.

But these are people that actually damaged something or maybe harrassed someone idk One said mischief

Also said all vehicle's parked including truckers will be prosecuted. Threatened heavy fines and possibly jail time.

Says will avoid any situation involving potential violence and confrontation but everything is on the table for now.

Imagine the earful that police chief has gotten from Trudeau and Co. He's gonna have to take one for the team and tell his subordinates not to enforce the law. He's gonna be in a tough situation. If he doesn't comply he'd probably lose his pension. We've already seen the police bend the knee for their govt in Australia. Let's see if Canada's LEO's have some balls.

I like Pierre, he's a lot more passionate and has more charisma, while at the same is sharp and quick-witted. An upgrade from O'Toole in every way. He'll appeal to younger people too. Trudeau really can't hold a candle to him in an actual debate.

My only criticism if you can call it that is basically he's spent his entire time being a critic, but I'd like to see if he can actually lead and create solutions. What Canada needs more than anything right now is somebody with a focus on fiscal responsibility and monetary policy.

He's been getting eviscerated in the local media because cops are all standing around collecting overtime. Basically bowing to public pressure.

Ottawa has one of the worst police forces in the country for shady behaviour and low staffing levels. A bunch just recently got busted for getting payoffs from tow truck drivers.
