I've reflected a lot the past few years to see where I made mistakes and how to improve in the future and every time I analyze periods in my life where I was miserable, depressed and broke it's always because I got into a serious or prolonged casual relationship or I started recreationally using cannabis. When I've stopped using cannabis, I seem to gravitate towards sexual pleasure as a substitute for the escape that cannabis would give me. It's crazy in hindsight to observe my behavior. I would literally skip work to have sex all day, I would stay up until 5am, I would stop working to go fuk some chick the moment she texted me. The more I observe my behavior the more I'm sure I'm a sex junkie. I behave like a junkie to get my fix. There are some studies that compare the porn addicted brain to a heroin junkie's and they're similar. It get's out of hand too. You start to objectify women more, disregarding their emotions, etc.

The flip side is that when I'm not masturbating or having sex (semen retention) I start to feel normal again. When I'm busting all day, I have social anxiety and act meek. When I retain, I talk and communicate with people easily and am confident. People look at me differently too. Even as early as 4 days on retention I notice women will preen and make themselves known to me. On 2 weeks plus, women will begin approaching and talking to me, touching my hands when talking, and generally just seem more interested. I also have more energy and motivation. The first time I did semen retention I was 23 and had only read one book out of high school. I retained for over a month and read 6 books in that time. I was also only getting 4 hours sleep but was able to work 14 hours of labour and go to the gym for 2 hours and still have energy. Past day 30, You feel more happy and spiritual.

You won't realize just how addicted to sex mainstream media has made you until you try this for 30+ days. The first week or two is difficult but after that it get's easy.

If I were to give any single person one piece of advice, it would be to abstain from sexual actions for 30-90 days. When you can control your sexual impulses, you can control everything else in your life with ez.
