I've talked to her before and I agree she's awesome and one of only pleasant people on here - i was surprised to hear she broke up with the guy she said was her soulmate.

But i can't help but think that life is nothing more than an experience, with death being the commonality between every living thing.

The only thing i hope was that she was not in pain and she felt pleasant, because death is coming to all; some sooner, others later.

Guess that i'm a bit 'different' to everybody else - we are all going to die one day, so let's make the most of it?

I say all of this in a totally loving mood, because i doubt she'd want any of us feeling sad over it or anything?

IMO yes, her body died, but she lives on forever in the combined human consciousness - so it's not really a death in my eyes.. well yes of her body.

That's why I think we should let go of attachments and other lower and more primitive desires - it means nothing in the grand scheme of things IMO.

Damn. The first link posted ITT didn't work/show anything about it here so I thought/hoped this wasn't real.. the second link confirmed it, unfortunately. I knew it was coming but not that it would be this soon. Way, way too soon.

We've known each other for a long time. She was the sweetest person I've ever encountered, seriously.

Rest in peace Lauren, I'll always remember you. We'll go to Tomorrowland on the other side.

Jesus Christ. I'm absolutely rekt after reading that.

Ya know there's some truth to the misc brother(&sister)hood... In a way we have more meaningful connections to each other here on an anonymous dying bodybuilding forum than we do with some of the relationships we bother to maintain IRL.

Some common thread (no pun intended) brought us all together here and to be a miscer requires a certain deviation from the norm.

Sounds like she was a stellar person. Guess she was too good for this world and moved on.

Sounds like she was kicking up until the end. We all at least hope that most of the time people live their lives to the fullest and then when you get old you just slow down because you don't need to rush anymore and have done it all and start sleeping a lot and then one day fade away and just never wake up again but that's not how it usually goes. Half of us are going to be taken out before we can even retire.

I don't know for sure. All I know is she never went into remission after the first surgery. They found more cancer, she had to go back on chemo and they're were planning for another surgery...

That's what i mean when i say i just hope that she felt pleasant in the end when she passed on - that's all that matters to me, because the body always dies, but the experience isn't always the same.

RIP, maybe there is an afterlife, and we'll all be miscing in heaven someday.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I admit that I struggle with faith when I see such a good person suffer and pass especially at such a young age. Just doesn't make sense. But the way she went about herself, despite her own suffering, makes me want to think the best in people.
Freedom of speech is a principle pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved and tyranny is erected on its ruins.

YOU are miscing - you are me and we are all the same awareness, you just have not realized it yet, because your level awareness isn't there yet. It's like a monkey looking at a mobile phone and not realizing that it can use it to talk to another monkey that has a mobile phone. The phone is there, you just have not figured out how to use it. Once you reach that level of awareness where you realise these things, death becomes a joke, because you experientially know that it isn't real in anything more than the material world.

I mean that's all it is. It's so fleeting, and could be gone tomorrow, have to enjoy it.

One of her last posts she mentioned it came back or got bad again. Could just tell from her wording it was not good. But she wasn't attention whorey. Just seemed like a quality, sweet person.
