It's cold there - areas Ottawa are reading between -3 F and 5 F right now

Staying warn has to be a real challenge.

Living in NC where we only hit that cold on a rare occasion every few years, I know that's damn brutally cold.

He refused to run last time, would have easily won.

He will not waffle and change stance like O’Toole does, I had fairly high hopes but so so many wide open opportunities to blitz Trudy were bypassed without notable comment. He was worse than Scheer, which I hadn’t thought possible.

Local towing companies are rejecting Ottawa police requests for help towing ‘Freedom Convoy’ trucks out of the downtown core, according to a senior police source.

The source told CTV News Ottawa that even if police decided to tow the trucks from the downtown streets they have been clogging up for the past week, they wouldn’t have enough tow trucks to do it.

Police outreach to tow truck companies across the city has been rebuffed, the source said.

Honestly never thought possible to be worse than Scheer as well lol. Conservatives haven't put up anybody good at all and yet they won the popular vote with O'Toole and Scheer which shows that despite being unlikeable and bland politicians, there's a lot of people that don't like Trudeau. Pierre is a lot more likeable and more passionate, younger and will hopefully stick to his guns like he has thus far unlike O'Toole. He could possibly pull in some liberal voters and being a Franco-Albertan, can probably pull in some Quebec voters. He's pretty much our only hope though lol and if he doesn't get PM next election Conservatives literally have zero hope because he's the best candidate. But there is hope based on still winning the popular vote despite putting a chit candidate as leader. Hopefully voter fatigue and Trudeau becoming more unlikeable by the second also plays into things.

Kinda funny that with Pierre running that PPC becomes completely irrelevant. They were created partially because Bernier had a hissy fit in not being the Conservative leader and partially because our Conservative party candidtates was liberal-lite and complete dogchit. A lot of PPC voters like Pierre so I don't see them voting PPC unless we continue with this clown world covid charade.
