Know this feel brah. Broke up with gf of 3.5 years back at the end of August. Was really tough for the first month and a half or so. After that I started seeing this new chick. Still think about her almost daily, but have to remind myself of why it ended and that no matter how much my brain tries to trick me, it was for the best. It's going to take time, but stay strong and soldier on. Greener pastures ahead my friend!

I messed up too- she saw I messaged girls on tinder back in 2020 and 2021 DMING others. (she was overweight back then -but now started losing weight rapidly and as soon as things started getting better she ended it because she couldn't stop thinking of me messaging other girls in the past and exposing her.

Hate to say it, but the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. Assuming it is truly over, start dating if you can.

Feels brah. Broke up with my ex of 4 years. She also felt she was never enough for me and that sealed the relationship at the end. She is my best friend but I couldn’t keep treating her badly. She deserves far better. Relish you were able to enjoy and grow in the relationship, now you know what you need and what mistake to avoid. I was with a girl for 5 years, from 19-24…we broke up last year, it was rough for a few days but then I got over it. We were each others first loves, we lost our v cards together. I’m talking to a different girl now that I met on New Years.

When me and my ex broke up and I knew for sure it was permanent. I destroyed anything that reminded me of her. Ripped up our pictures, deleted pics on phone, threw away letters, deleted messages, got rid of gifts she got me, basically pretended she never existed. Now my memories with her are really foggy for the most part.

It’s a bit sad, we thought we would last forever and overcome obstacle after obstacle if need be. She was obsessed with me for a while. Wanted me to marry her and give her children. Spent 5 years with her. Now she’s a distant memory.

But you know what? Life goes on. You will be alright, you aren’t the only one who’s gone through this and neither am I.
