Family friend applied to be my neighbor in apartment building without telling me. WTF
I moved to a new apartment 3 weeks ago. family friend and his girlfriend applied to move into the same complex, literally the room right next to mine. Didn’t ask if it would be weird or anything. He just heard the place was nice from people who visited. I found out cuz his gf asked my girl if the place is nice after they applied.
He might have assburgers or something. How do I explain to him that he’s being weird as ****.
Dat feel when you try to move away from family and they don’t even give you a month of freedom.
Anyway, what do? How do you explain unwritten social rules to someone who doesn’t get them?
I venmoed him all his application fees, and told him to **** off essentially.
Cliffs:
-I move to new apartment 3 weeks ago
-Family friend hear’s the place is nice and applies to be my next door neighbor without a peep.
-I tell him to **** off cuz that’s rude/weird/complete invasion of privacy.
What’s the best way to put this into words for someone who doesn’t understand unwritten social rules.

Hes going to sneak creeper shots of all the late night nasty pieces of ass you invite over to your house and send them to your mom and provide daily reports on your doings to your entire family.

This is a really strange thread. Who cares? It’s not like you gotta talk to them. Are they living in your unit with your GF? If not stfu. Being in the same building doesn’t mean chit. And it’s not weird remotely. The weird thing is that you have an issue with it
Why do you see this as a threat? It’s very odd. lol.

If you live in an apartment building somewhere close to where you grew up, chances are you will know someone else who lives there.
Lol @ thinking an entire building is out of the question just because you live in it.
And lol at the fact you feel entitled to give your opinion to anyone about whether or not to live there

What the Fk u doing living in an apartment? LOL
But to answer the q that's apartment life..its hit or miss with who you are gonna get as a neighbor. If its that big of an issue with this dude , move.
Dont think it would be bad if they're chill

They just nosey and will be telling everyone in the fam my business. Just a privacy thing. I don’t want uninvited family/friends knocking on my door because “they were in the area” visiting him

That would be a bit annoying.
Just pretend you're not home
It could be worse , probably over thinking it a bit and it wont be too bad
When i lived in certain apartments i could go like a full week without seeing my neighbor in the hall way ..and i was in / out a lot

Just weird that he had to follow me when I tried getting my own space. I want peace of mind when coming home after working all day. If I knew someone in an apartment building, especially a smaller one, I wouldn’t sign the lease.
