My life is boring and depressing as fuk lol!

I work night shift doing physical labor I will probably be doing this as long as I live. I drink and smoke on occasion to relieve my existence.

Same i work with a guy that sits in front of me while i do labor work all day

He literally just sits there and doesn't say anything and looks my way or at his monitors all day and it's so awkward being in there all day like that

Bro I worked with people that is in their late 40’s and 50’s they give up on life a long time ago and is working to earn a paycheck.I look at my retirement account almost everyday and it says I will be able to retire in 2056. 35 years from now and I’m only 30 right now lol!

I moved continents, states and cities. Went from accounting to sale and construction/carpentry. Learned different languages and still managed to do well in life.

Full time labouring can definitely suck the joy from your life, you need to have goals that you are working towards otherwise you are will spend the majority of your life doing something you loath, with a couple of hours between sleeping that are easily wasted on frivolous entertainment, with nothing to show for it.

since im immigrant all my friends,acquaintances tied to trucking because its low skilled -highest paid job.
full route to 6fig consist about 3-5months before your launch.
im getting my foot in trucking as well in spring,now i can chill since i finished roofing season and can afford it.
1)to obtain cdl you need clean driving record and no drugs,probably 1 months off will cut it.
2)google has a lot of tests with matching answers to real cdl written tests.
3)Pretrip inspection is youtube aswell,nothing difficult.
4)Learning driving skills takes different amount of time,some of my friends were able to grasp in 2hrs all maneuvres like 90deg ,parallel,offset ,backup . personally ive tried to drive it on my homie truck and wasnt difficult.
4.a. google your local "cdl truck rental test near me" which will give you truck and time to practice and for test in dmv aswell
5. get your medical card for $100
6. Take pretrip,road skills test .
7. apply to any trucking outfit as DRIVER with 1099 self-employed tax approach(you deduct all taxes yourself,no health insurance,no benefits)
current pay is 70-95cent per mile/or 30% of gross/or per day 400-500 , on average 3500 miles yield $2500-3000 your pretax home weekly.
8. after 2-3 months of getting idea how to navigate around start looking for different outfits with LEASE option .
Lease option means you get about 40-50% net on total gross per week after all expenses like fuel,dispatching,insurance,trailer
current price for DryVan box is $2.5 per mile. average driver goes 3500 miles x 2.5 = 8750 - 50% = 4500 net income before personal taxes per week or 150-250k per year.
Last step is to become business owner with people working for you which is my next goal.
Advantages - very high pay,low skill threshold to enter,very easy to work ,just press gas pedal and make bucks.
Drawbacks- no personal life,tied to truck 24/7, erratic hours,
Conclusion - very lucrative short term job with scaling to big business possibility.

My life sucks too. I get no enjoyment from anything anymore, nothing to look forward too, practically no family. I have no desire to put effort into anything anymore.

Haha bro join the club. Life is misery, it’s a relentless torrent of doom-inflicting pain. The only way I cope is through self-harming masochistic negative thoughts and binge drinking and refusal to accept help in any way.

My favorite times are when I’m asleep and dreaming. I would rather be asleep and dreaming than awake. And so would everyone else. I hate my job, I was happier when I made less money and less responsibility

It’s not a huge deal though, bad chit happens to good people and sometimes someone is born that just isn’t destined to live a good life. You just have to accept it.

I can’t imagine what a clown 🤡 world 2056 will be. Hopefully I’ll still be alive and retired by then since most of my family is almost 80 and still alive.

OP you aren’t stuck. You can always find a better job especially as you’re young.

I hope to retire to part-time work in 5 years. It’s been a good ride and I’m 50, so I’ll be pushed out of the tech world by 55.
