In Australia we were upgrading our internet infrastructure to bring it in line with the 21st century. But Rupert Murdoch said it will hurt his Pay TV service, because people will move to online streaming like Netflix. So they cancelled the build and we now have internet worse than third world countries. Pretty amazing what money can do

Absolutely mirin that speed.

I have old, semi-slow DSL. All utilities are undergrounded in my neighborhood, and the service provider does not want to make the investment to dig/pull faster fiber lines for us.

I am the poster boy for that meme with the skeleton sitting at the keyboard waiting on network response.

Just ran a speedtest on fast.com and hit 650Mb download on my iPhone 13 via wifi 6 but no where near that upload speed. Mirin srs
