Ukraine may be the only good guys in this case but the people supporting them are not. Leave Ukraine alone.
Putin would not have to rattle his sabre if we allowed Ukraine to just remain neutral. Just keep the status quo.

They denuclearized on a vague notion that nato and the us would defend them against russian aggression.

Idk what made them think that was a good idea lol... morons.

If they still had the nuclear arsenal the did, this wouldnt even be an issue.

No one is trying to invade Russia. Ukraine isn’t a threat to Russia. The west shouldn’t keep appeasing Putin.

Had they refused to give up their nukes they would have faced diplomatic and economic sanctions from the West/NATO, and they would not have been acknowledged as a new independent state. They would have also pretty much ensured that Russia would have made a move against them right after the collapse of the SU.

They were recognized as a sovereign nation in 1991, they denuclearized in 1994.

And idk about you, id rather face possible sanctions than give up my means of defence. Stupid decision.

lmao russia isnt stupid bro, they know no one wants fo invade them... they are just using ukraine wanting to join nato as an excuse.

“Muh security”

There are a handful of countries on their border, closer to moscow even, that have been apart of nato for a while. Where was the outrage for that?

Then why is Europe meeting with America and UK to work out what sanctions to give Russia? We're not the ones about to invade another country.

US needs Ukraine crisis to harm European economy, and legitimize its military presence.
Analysts said Sunday that keeping the crisis intense will benefit the US in several fields:
1: legitimizing its military presence in Europe by demonizing Russia and
2: poisoning Russia-EU ties, increasing uncertainties and
3: concerns to harm the eurozone economy so there will be more capital flight from the continent to the US and thus easing the US inflation pressure, and
4: using the tension to stir up trouble for China-Russia ties.

Yeah and the West could just have withdrawn their support and acknowledgement. They also received financial compensation and whatnot.

You also forget that the US was heavily pushing its post Soviet denuclearization program.

1. We're in NATO and all those countries want us there so they don't have to spend money. We don't need to legitimize our precense.
2. Their ties to EU suck and if they didn’t owe billions to several countries they would get kicked off of SWIFT for this Ukraine nonsense.
3. The only capital flight is away from Russia.

Not sure if srs, EU is Russia's largest trade partner, and Russia is one of the largest EU partners. Not to mention that Russia is largest supplier of natural gas and petroleum oils to the EU.

The Russian govt and its “democratically elected” supreme leader, have given no reason ever for any American, or anyone in the west for that matter, to support them in any way…. Least of all the BS they are trying to pull in Ukraine now.

The top 3 trading partners of the EU are China, US, and UK. It's not an even relationship

Lots of people including me find them more rational than the current globalists.
The Western propaganda is constantly producing war propaganda against Russia, when we should be trading and doing business with Russia.
It's all not conducive to peace and the current situation in Ukraine is almost entirely Western manufactured and the product of bad foreign policy.
We shouldn't have tried to enlarge NATO so much, simple as.

Propaganda like, "Russia massing troops near 3 Ukraine borders. Looks like preparing for invasion."?

Russia is just having an expensive military exercise?

Well great. Then they should have fun and go home when they're done and we can stop talking about this.
