What happened to comedy?

I'm going back and watching a bunch of mainstream TV stuff from the early 2000s up to 2012......its crazy the kind of comedy they had back then even at events like the Oscars and mainstream TV

You never see comedy anymore, everything is serious and all about "wokeism" now

My point was that mainstream stuff used to be funny but that seems to have changed recently....now everything mainstream is all sterilized

Like Triumph the Insult Comic Dog....you could never do that now on mainstream TV

Cancel culture took over since then.... So you need an un-cancelable niche audience.

Look at Joe Rogaine. He never had issues until Spotify got him. Now suddenly everything he said for the past 15 years is a big problem.
