When was the last time you went to the movie theater?
I just realized I haven't been to a movie theater since 2018 when I watched A Quiet Place.
Of course covid messed things up for a bit, but do people still go to the movie theater? I feel like every movie that comes out will be available on streaming services within a month.
Movie theaters will go the way of malls I think within 5-10 yrs.
Do you still go to the movies misc?

Maybe half a year ago? Saw the Conjuring movie last year. I love going to the movies, don't think I'll ever stop. Netflix/hulu/etc is nice, but some movies I need to experience on a big screen (not the Conjuring, that was just on a whim lol)

I think I saw Ford vs. Ferrari in theater. If not then it was that 70's Hollywood movie that I just couldn't connect with...Brad Pitt on the roof was nice though. 'Bout all I remember of it.

Probably been 5-10 years, I genuinely can't even remember the name of the last movie I saw, some garbage date when I was still dumb enough to put up with the sticky floors and strangers.

Yesterday, I saw Moonfall. Thought I was going to see a cool science-y movie about the Moon falling out of orbit, I get a 2 hr long movie based on a stupid conspiracy theory instead.
Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.

Eternals, what's up with hollywood making black brahs gay in movies.
Anyways,
-seats were covered in plastic because covid,
-people were not allowed to sit next to each other (social distancing)

I try to go often because I like the experience and my city only has 1 so I want to support it. Nightmare Alley was the last one I saw about 2-3 weeks ago, it was ok. The quality of movies has really gone down the last decade or so and covid has made it even worse. Fuk marvel trash too.

I'd guess it has been 4 to 5 years since i was last at a movie theater. When i lived in Illinois a theater was close to where I live. Now living in Florida the drive to the theater is about 30 minutes when traffic is light. Now, with many tourists here it might about an hour to get there.

Funny enough I think that's the same movie I saw last. I remember being high and not impressed. Was definitely 4 years ago.
Movie theaters and movies in general just aren't what they used to be. In the 90s it was a really big deal. Those places were fuking packed.
