Man it's weird i'm looking around online and everything is so gloom and doom and depressing or some kind of woke agenda. What happened to the wholesome 90s and 2000s culture?

Also you can't find anything online anymore it's just short clips of chit or long ass videos on youtube that hardly make any sense or the same search results. You can't find lifting forums or any conspiracy chit or anything.

I feel like that at the gym when I'm interacting with people. No individuality or life. Just flat, lifeless clones of one another.. Same conversations. Everyone's just cold. Even drivers on the road are maniacs. They'll risk an accident to get one car in front or be the first to the red light.

It's sad knowing we'll never relive those times.

Occasionally I'll see someone wearing a skateboard shirt or something nostalgic and I'll ask them if they skate and they say no and then go back to instagram on their phones.

Anytime I look something up, I put 'forum' after it or else you get search results full of articles from low iq AI blogs.

I agree, it's hard to find authentic search results these days on any topic.

I quit going like 15 months ago because it was just the same people there but barely anyone talking and on their phones. After a few years of that i just cancelled my membership. But yeah everyone wearing the same attire and same hair cuts/tats. Idk man.

At work it's like that too i just hear the same convos but it's like the environment just feels cold. Everyone keeps quitting but they keep hiring more diversity. I'm surprised the place is even still running.

Drivers have been aggressive since the 2016 election. You gotta watch out and drive slower because people don't watch what they're doing on the roads anymore. People are in a hurry now for some reason and just fly through the slow zones and parking lots now like it's a highway.

It's crazy to think RL Stine is worth like 200 million. But those books were awesome. The stories were decent and the artwork is timeless.

Kids today won't even know what it was like to step into the arcade at the mall.

The dark with the neon lights.

See 100 different games,

A crowd forming at the brand new Mortal Kombat 2 machine

This is something I am almost sad that it went away.

Social media took over, and people would rather be engrossed in that.

I think lots of anxiety and depression is coming from social media - news and others' lives shared. I can't speak for 80s, but 90s and 00s were enjoyable prior to the expansion of social media.

Not to mention people were less anxious and times were simpler. Always in the moment. When you hung with friends, you spent real time together and focused on your activity. When you drove or commuted, it wasn't as dangerous or nerve wracking.

Now everyone is too busy documenting what they do for everyone else to know aside from the people they're doing it with.

It's also ironic that we wouldn't and couldn't really film everything we did or the times we lived in even though we can argue that those times are the best and now all we have is constant reminders of clown world being documented to look back on.

Those "last day of high school" videos bring back the feels of the 90's culture.

Because people were doing stuff. I remember pre 2015 everyone I knew spent very little time on their screens and always wanted to be outside either doing something or socializing. Nowadays everyone is just on their phone endlessly scrolling or watching a screen.

What happened to people doing things? Nobody I know does anything they just buy stuff, consumes the new trendy thing or look at screens all day lmao. Even I do since it's just what everyone does now.
