Im not a mathematician and not very good at it myself. But after taking a physics class, I can see how useful it is. Math organizes things and make things more efficient.

Quant is more of a way to take on any topic most efficiently.

Quants analyze any topic with logic, not limited to math, and reach answers far more efficiently than those meandering through humanities or other soft fields.
