I have never once seen anything that would cause me to believe in ghosts, but there's something in me that feels like our "spirit" (energy, consciousness, whatever) continues after death. How can we know though? I don't see how we can.

I think there have been way too many accounts for it all to be made up. Same with "shadow people". Only closed-minded ****g0ts deny ghosts/ufos/bigfoot/etc without reason. Those same people probably believe in God without question which IMO is far less believable.
An example would be the police footage from the Watts house. There's absolutely no reason they would fake that sht

Very unsettling srs, gave me chills watching the footage. It's clear as day there's a little girl in that room

yes but not like we think.
Imagine you are walking through the forest at night with no light. Its queit and very realaxing, A bit scary to start but you soon realize that you are just a bit closer to nature.
All this while knowing that the majority of animals are awake and active at night. They too feel comre comfortable in the darkness. It protects them.
I always felt that when we die, we go a step closer to nature, like that dark forest. We are more comfortable there and do our thing in that state. This would account for why people see ghosts at night more often. They are just doing their thing in a comfortable setting.
Also their ground might not be our ground level, same with their walls. Thats why it looks like they are floating or going through walls. they are just walking along in their world.
Theirs is a simpler world, they dont get hungry or tired like we do. They just sort of exist in a half memory type state.
They see glimpses of us and we are their ghosts.
Just some thoughts on the subject, obviously no proof but it does make sense.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Evil jinns (aka satans) try to get you to commit polytheism as much as possible. So they may appear in the form of a loved one who passed away, so that you start worshipping them. You start putting out offerings for your dead wife or whatever, start calling out to her in your prayers… meanwhile she’s dead and can’t hear you nor benefit you. And just like that you’ve worshipped her
Many occultists know FOR SURE that jinn exist. When they finally see one they call it “pulling back the veil” or so I believe that’s what they mean. The thing is, in order for you to use the jinn for your services (aka magic), you HAVE to commit acts of polytheism (rendering you a disbeliever and will damn you to hell forever if you don’t repent from it).
Realmagic = using the jinn to achieve the effects you want. Nobody can see how it’s happening and so you think “wow that guy has magical powers!” yet in reality the magician committed heresy - and probably other disgusting acts too. Like sacrificing chickens to the jinn and pouring the blood all over themselves
100% srs
So many people think this world doesn’t exist until they experience one for themselves. Then they sound just like the people they used to think were crazy and/or dumb.

If you don’t believe in that, then you may think they’re extra dimensional beings. There’s a lot to this existence that I believe we haven’t begun to fathom.
