It's clear that you either "choose" to take the vaccine, or accept a lower standard of living (job loss, etc.). These people have been living like this for two years and are fed up, but people who have to listen to some honking for a few weeks lose their mind. "Ohh no, the honking is forcing me to leave my house because I cannot sleep" Nah sorry, you aren't forced. That's your choice.

The point is that the "protest" is in the wrong place. The issues listed are governed at the provincial level and were already announced to be ending before the convoy begun. Provincial governments are not in Ottawa.

The people being harassed have nothing to do with restricting anyone's freedom. They are residents of a city.

Right. There are two perspectives.

Some, myself included, find this position to be hypocritical and feel that citizens have a right to not be endlessly harassed for things beyond their control.

New interim police chief giving updates. Basically telling protestors that if they leave peacefully they won't be bothered but they are cordoning off the protest area so nobody can get in. He's happy to let people out as long as they leave.

Nope, not my style and have way too much to lose getting into any public altercation. I'd go live in my condo, seriously. I'm a big believer in taking stuff in to your own hands and handling your own problems if you can/in most situations. Ask for help only when really needed.

Hmm.

So looks like so far police have locked down entering the main convoy area with they say 100 checkpoints. Also are closing most of the exits from the highway unless you have nothing to do with the convoy and making sure that new fuel, etc can't get into the area. they have also been walking around warning anyone with children to leave immediately. Don't know if there will be anything going down tonight, they may give it one more night to encourage people to leave on their own. Also they are blocking off anyone new showing up for the weekend.
