What’s even worse is he didn’t just take a life. He destroyed an entire family. The damage her murder inflicted will ripple through generations. Her loved ones will never recover from the pain. Those four children whose mother was taken will grow up emotionally damaged, have children of their own who may suffer from being raised by broken people, no fault of their own. Talk to the family of a homicide victim sometime. That chit never goes away. I’ve spoken to people whose loved ones were killed in the 60s and they’re still fuked to this day.

Coddling inherently evil human beings is what’s causing society to fall apart. I’m all for criminal justice reform when it comes to nonviolent low level offenses. But violent crime needs to be met with severe consequences.

This will keep happening until violent criminals start getting harsh punishments, they need to fear the repercussions more than they want to commit the crime.

This should be an open and shut case, from trial to execution in no more than a month.

The execution needs to be performed with a gun or rifle, I propose a mechanism is rigged wherein the criminal to be executed is restrained against a vertical surface, and a large button above their head is held pressed, when they let go of the button, the mechanism shoots the criminal multiple times center mass. You place their hand on the button, and whenever they get tired and their hand drops, they kill themselves. Cheap, fast, and efficient.

An alternative, we place the criminal on a dinghy, and tow said dinghy to international waters and we leave the criminal to their own devices. If they attempt to enter US waters, the Coast Guard will engage the dinghy until it sinks. If any of the bleeding heart countries think we're being barbaric, they can come and pick the criminal up and take them back to whatever country it is that will take the criminal in.
