When did the whole Misc become so angry and political?

Jesus. I used to come here for the lulz, now the entire misc is strictly R&P. Even if the OP doesn't mention politics, most of the posts are rants about liberals and Joe Biden or black people. Keep that sh*t over at the R&P section.

It got a lot more like that after 2020, with covid, St Floyd, Biden election. The last two years have been absolutely surreal, just psyop after psyop pushed in your face and normies just seem to go along with all unquestioningly. It gets real fuking tiresome but here there are a lot of people who see through it all and need an outlet.

Since clown world and wokeness started being pushed in our face EVERYWHERE. Even businesses and corporations push this stuff. Its everywhere you look. All the movies, TV shows, and media now push a woke, clown world agenda.

I think around 2015-2016 Misc started to become race and depression obsessed. 2011-2013 there was still a lot of positive posters enjoying life

2011 was a different time.

First of all, clown world and the Woke Revolution didn't start happening until 2016.

Second of all, everyone on here was young (everyone was in their early/mid 20s) and had their entire life ahead of them. Now we have the same userbase, that grew older, who is now in their 30s and 40s. Their life is closing in and the future doesn't look as hopeful.

I feel like because of the combination of dog**** mods here banning funny posters, and bodybuilding.com showing its age, younger dudes use other sites for their memes and **** now. Wallstreetbets still maintains that feeling I used to get from the misc. And that could be also because teens and early 20s dudes that posted here 2011-2015 are mid 20s to early 30s now and care more about money than fitness.
