Is anyone aware of the massive truck convoy protest headed to Ottawa right now?

There's no legal mechanism permitting formation of a coalition with non-government entities. Even if those entities occupy the capitol and demand it
They can register as a party, win some seats, and then propose forming a coalition.

I answered his question. Legal protests are allowed in Canada, as always.
In this context, "allowed" and "legal" are synonymous terms.

WTF?? They had to move literally 4-5 blocks, out of the downtown core, and they would have been left to rot. No number of warnings were enough, after a court injunction. Apparently the courts, which represent us all, are not a good enough authority?
Sure.
Sure.

Yeah, they left the rail blockades up longer than society wanted ,Jan-Feb-Mar 2020. Here was the Con leader, and the consequences. This generated a lot of response.
"February 18 – Opposition leader Andrew Scheer condemns the federal government's response, calling it "the weakest response to a national crisis in Canadian history. Will our country be one of the rule of the law, or will our country be one of the rule of the mob?". Prime Minister Justin Trudeau holds a private meeting with the other opposition parties' leaders, barring Scheer after his comments."
After multiple court injunctions on multiple levels, cops cleared blockades and many arrests were made, ultimately.
I prefer rule of law, personally.

It looks like a group of people who didn't like the outcome of Trudeau's pointless and wasteful vanity election lost patience with the system and went vigilante.
Understandable. But not without consequence.

Protesters had really super good organizing and total crap leadership. Part of leadership wanted Trudy evicted, and to be part of the new governing coalition. It made them a laughing stock, and untouchable from a political point of view, at least from those in power. Thus, there could not ever be a 'negotiation', as there was a built in excuse for saying no common ground. Removing it from the main convoy website was WAYYYY too late in the game. Allowing Pat King to continue to speak/be heard on behalf of the convoy was also extremely potato. Not to mention that anyone who can't see that the Libs were never going to bend on mandates need to up their meds dosage.
Happy to further clarify if any questions.
