Facts. I wouldn't blame just the Misc though. It seems like the internet in general is that way. Forum use peaked a long time ago, now people mostly flock to social media/reddit/or quit it altogether. We're in a new digital age and its very splintered. User experiences aren't built for camaraderie anymore.

As for the misc, there are still good posters here, but the threads aren't funny anymore. I can't remember the last time I laughed here.


lol actually only exception was BeastChicken. That was vintage misc. We need more of that and less schizo meltdowns

i really think the times you guys misc the most is

when anonymity was stronger. the internet just integrated into real life way harder than it did back then. so people weren't afraid to post ridiculous chit

nowadays, guys like yaboydave are prob scared to post because of the repercussions

there is also def. a cultural shift, and google changes and so on and so on

with that i don't think people aspire to be "big" on misc like they did before. the people that want to be "big" with internet fame are prob sticking to insta, youtube, etc. where they can make money doing it

your new zyzz would just stick to social media

Yea exactly. Other companies usurped bb.com and then Google changed how it shows up altogether

Google changes the way they rank authority so people can't park websites in first place forever. It continually updates. Further, the way they rank forums and the way they rank subdomains could have changed too. This forum is on a subdomain

I remember when first miscing you could Google chit and misc would pop up on lots of stuff but that changed a long time ago. If you type in bb.com misc you can still find stuff. But way back when you'd get here by accident

Ehh, disagree. Theres a market for loyal customers. Yeah theyd lose market share for sure, but people do stick with avenues of purchasing that they trust or that they feel allegiance too. You can see this with all the influencer proteins that do most of their transactions off amazon through a loyal customer base... BPN, Outwork, Bloom, etc. Higher priced, shipping charges yet their growth is through the roof because they continue to keep people within their sphere.

Yeah basic rule of thumb seems to be the more left wing a place is the more toxic it becomes. Their rules basically revolve around allowing left wing activists to say/do whatever they want while being hyper-aggressive towards everyone else and censoring/banning them.
