Stickin' it to Bozos: Only 1 Amazon order for 2022 so far. Don't plan on any more.

I was reviewing my orders year over year on Amazon and couldn't believe all the ridiculous chit I was buying. Had 40+ orders each year for 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Decided to switch gears and buy all my stuff locally, like the good old days.
Feels good brehs. Anyone doing the same?

I live rural and the convenience of ordering things has been too much for me to give up. That said, I don't order from Amazon as much as I used to. There was a time when Amazon was my first stop for ordering, but not anymore. Amazon used to be the cheapest and the fastest, but I've found that to usually not be the case anymore.

Been ordering from Walmart online over Amazon. Usually cost less or same and faster free shipping. That said, an order I made some days ago from Amazon says "delivered to a safe space" yesterday. It's not here. I have looked all around my front gate and courtyard, not here. Was shipped with Amazons shipping and they usually take a pic of the box, but no pic. Just "delivered to a safe space". Thinking the delivery person is a liberal. Will wait a day to see if one of my neighbors got it, if they did I know they will bring it to me. Was just underarm deodorant and lifting pads I couldn't find on Walmart online. And ya, cancelled Prime long ago. When I first got it, it was ~$70 and fast shipping (2-3 days?) was real. Now it just sucks and double the price because of movies I can stream or download for free lol

Not sure how this is going to affect his bottom line, but I'm keeping my prime membership.
I live in a rural area and it's a waste of time and gas to go to the store for something I can wait an extra day or two for. The savings I'll get in shipping and fuel offset the year cost many times over.

I found my weighted vest on Amazon. Then I bought it direct from the company/person selling it. It was still the same price or a little less, I forget. But Amazon didn't get a cut out of it.

Rather order Monsters/Redbulls in bulk for ~$1.10 a can rather than paying $2.50+ for each can at a gas station or grocery store while looking like a retard carrying a bunch of cans to my car. Just passed an AWS Cloud cert which will get me a nice raise.

Bumping this thread. Still going strong brahs. Zero Amazon purchases for 2022 other than the nail polish for my wife. It's been difficult actually. There have been multiple times where I wanted to buy something so I hopped on Amazon on my phone and almost pulled the fukn trigger. This is like a mindset I need to adapt to. Feels good so far.
