Anyone from Texas here?

What are covid restrictions there like? I hear its pretty loose and that shots arent mandatory. Im from Croatia and Im planning to go to New York on vacation this summer however since they require 2nd dose and I havent taken a single shot I might go somewhere else. Texas is def on my to go list because its a beautiful state and I would kill to meet Stone Cold the great rattle snake.


Fyi, I would be open to live there as well. Why not.

No restrictions related to regular public life.

Employment? May be required by some employers, though the only ones I have heard of are medical/hospitals.

Only place I'm aware of still requiring a mask is also hospitals/doctor's offices.

As far as entering thecountryIDK what is required currently.

I live in Texas.

There are no covid restrictions. Only some stores may make their customers wear a mask sometimes, but its not government mandated.

Majority of Texas's population is non-white. i'll It will be a huge culture shift to see all those Mexicans and Asians!

Katya lives in the city who has been the most strict though, they had mask mandates when Austin didn't

I'm from Texas and went to Ft worth for a wedding a couple weeks ago. I didn't wear a mask for the whole trip (srs).
