Everyone hates russians and their government.

I can hear the shells or anti-air at times (not sure what's the sound).

Some citizens are willing to fight, some don't.

Do you think you will even be drafted? This thing could be over in a few weeks. That would be hardly any time to train for military and mount effective counter attack against Russia.

What's the general population sentiment on insurgency if Russia annexes?

I work in tech, was given two paid days off by the company. All the overseas clients are very supportive and don't mind the service disruption.

I don't know what the future holds.

General sentiment depends on the region, the eastern cities are more beta / soviet / pro-russian. In other regions, civilians capture armed pilots that escape from a crashed plane with their bare hands (real story).

Thanks, I understand that there is little sense for US troops (and tax payers) to engage in this. On another hand, I would expect a US president to be more alpha.

4/10. I have a wife and a 7-month-old daughter, so someone got to be calm and wise. I see very good reports from my army (pics and vids heavy casualties caused to the occupants), plus I have a car with the full tank parked near my apartment.

Also as of now, there are no food or water shortages, electricity, water, and internet access are available.

On top of that, I am sitting here like a little bitch all comfy, while my fellow countrymen are fighting, so I shouldn't really complain.

both are inspiring tbh (I may be naive and buy the state propaganda, but anyways). I didn't vote for our president, but I support him during these times. The Kyiv mayor is also a rich and connected guy, but he decided to stay.
