I was there a few weeks ago at my usual Chipotle and there was a new guy working the tortilla press and meat, I could already see up ahead of the line he was being incredibly skimpy so I began to bertstare him from way back in the line so he would get the hint not to screw with me. Apparently the hint was not taken because when he started making my burrito I was literally getting half portions of everything, including about 2oz of steak and he quickly tended to the next customer and never looked straight at me the entire time as I was bertstaring him hard.

I was raging, and continued to bertstare straight through him, never even blinked. I could hear the next girl saying "excuse me sir, would you like any salsa?" but she didn't even exist to me. I stood there holding up the line bertstaring this ******* until the line was so backed up he couldn't tend to anymore customers. He knew he was being bertstared hard and was getting all nervous and shakey because he knew he had no choice but to face me. He finally faced me while looking down and asked "ca..can I help yo..you??"

I didn't even mutter a word and continued to bertstare him while simultaneously pointing directly to the steak. He quickly added the right amount of steak and my eyes left his for a fraction of a second to verify it was the correct amount, then they locked straight back on him. I continued to bertstare him and never took my eyes off his while I went through the rest of the line, paid, and got napkins and condiments. I even walked out of the store and to my truck backwards while bertstaring him the entire time. As I was leaving I drove at a snails pace around the front glass windows bertstaring him though the windows from my truck.

Never saw that ******* again, pretty sure he quit

It depends on location, some workers act as if the steak charge is coming out of their paychecks and there's always that tiny girl server whom thinks everyone eats the same bird food portion she does

chipotle gets a lot of hate here but i like it. they do skimp on the meat nh compared to before but everything else is good to me. Maybe its different where you guys are?


like i used to not like panda express but then new management and staff came round at the one by me and now its good tasting food.

the rookie mistake, had to go with the bowl 2 scoops of protein.

hint, if you ask for no rice or beans, they will feel bad for you and give you a bigger scoop of meat.

hint two, WAIT till you get the first scoop to ask for double meat. otherwise youll get two half scoops. they cant give you a pussy scoop for the second that you are PAYING for after they just gave you that gangster first.

hint 3 ask for a second type of meat (again, after the first is scooped) and youll usually end up with a second mega scoop, not sure the reason why.

hint 4 as stingy as they can be with meat, they are down right chaotic with gauc. if you are eating any kind of low car high protein and fat macro strategy this works great. get a salad with no rice, no beans, scoop of steak and scoop of chicken, then add guaq and they will literally put a 1/2 pound of that chit on top of your meal.

Depends on where you go and who is serving you. It's preferred to go close to closing time because they're trying to get rid of food. So when you ask for a protein the give you the equivalent of "double" the amount.

Also ALWAYS get a burrito bowl and two tortillas on the side. You can make two burritos for practically the price of 1.

Regardless of all the tips and tricks the place is overhyped. I only learned the tricks b/c there was a Chipotle in the lobby of my previous job so I found myself eating it at least twice a week. I'm sick of it now.

I always ask them to put on less rice than normal.. because you are correct op they use too much rice
