Potential ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia
https://mobile.twitter.com/Reuters/s...28685933682689
Ukraine and Russia are discussing a place and time for talks, President Zelenskiy's spokesman said, adding that Ukraine is 'ready to talk about a ceasefire and peace'https://reut.rs/3Hl2e5S
It was always going to end like this. Zelenskiy finally starting to see that other countries will not start a world war over Ukraine. Feel for the people over there

Why didn't Ukraine do this from the get go while their border was surrounded? needless posturing and deaths.
however, now whatever govt has to worry about rebels and guerrila warfare (aka religion of peaceniks strategy)

The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

NipsyHustle has been the most consistent poster on this topic. Despite being a traitorous lefty, he's not been pushing video game clips and wild stories as news. You're weird, misc.
Anyway, this is the best possible outcome. Hoping the filthy Russians aren't just doing this because they didn't expect this much resistance, only to surprise attack at a later time.

This sounds like what happened to Georgia in 2008. It was a 4-day war that Georgia lost militarily (including land - South Ossetia) and economically and they eventually capitulated to Russia's demands and installed a pro-Russia government. I think the same fate will befall Ukraine.

But to bring this up out of context when someone is posting an informative thread makes you no better tbh.

russia is prob on a lot of chit lists now. incurred tons of losses and repercussions later
to start it and not completely dismantle and steamroll everything seems a bit of a loss
would he really start this and think about "talking" if there weren't good resistance? i mean think about it. rephrased, if there were little resistance i dont see why he'd take the time to invade and then talk. he'd just go in and take it. i think america plays world police as #1 superpower but i dont think it makes sense for a subsidiary power
that's my opinion anyways. i dont see taking those drastic measures then stopping halfway if that
was ukraine worth the trouble? were the direct losses worth the trouble? is the hatred russia now faces from everybody else worth the trouble? were the sanctions worth the trouble, etc., etc.

the demands russia made tbh if im ukraine id take them. they give up those territories russia wanted in the first place, as well as cannot be armed by west any longer.
maybe democrats will finally stop this BS with ukraine and trying to get them to join nato and taking all their money. it didnt do ukraine any good paying biden and hillary millions.
