hahahha im sorry. i shouldn't laugh, but I do just keep noticing how your overwhelmingly prefer racers and fp's and tend to gravitate towards high graphics.

That's all fine of course. I have my own quirks.

have you played any lower budget indie-like titles that you have enjoyed? or just something a bit less-mainstream in general?

Has anyone played Spiderman:Miles Morales?
I have it for PS5 and have played a litte bit. It's pretty fun, but I have a huge backlog and am unsure whether I would actually give it the time that it requires.

Is it really worth it or should I sell it and jump onto something else?

I played it and really enjoyed it. Very good game, and I am sure it's a great game for those into comics. But if you aren't feeling it enough that you ask the question I'd say put it aside and play something else. Too many good games out now, gotta prioritize.

Thanks for the confirmation. I admit that it was fun from the time that I played it.
I am not a huge comic guy (even though I really like Batman) so there are probably a lot of references that would go over my head.
I just got Ghost of Tsushima and FF7 Remake for PS5 this last Christmas, so I have some good PS5 titles to keep me busy.

I've never played a Spiderman game but I looked up a vid of that game up to the first boss and it looked fantastic. Had no idea it was so good and the web movement across the map looked incredible. Also I don't think it's a very long game, I'm definitely playing it soon.

Spiderman is a pretty short game if you stick to the main questline. It's a great game whether or not you do the side stuff.

Two amazing games. Never ever felt "too long" - the plot always kept moving forward. FF7R left a lasting impression on me.

I finished Kena: Bridge of Spirits yesterday. The animation was pixar-quality and had a decent enough story, but after a few hours the gameplay kind of felt tedious. Especially with the environments/setting never really changing. Basically a 3 hour game stretched into a 10 hour game.

I absolutely hate jumping from one 3rd person action game to another, and need a pallet cleanser before diving into either Horizon 2 or Elden. So I'm hitting up CoD: WW2 from my backlog (never played before) to knock out the campaign, and Sonic Racers which PS+ members will get on Wednesday.

Black spiderman is great and well worth a playthrough. It's not a long game.

COD: WW2 campaign is actually pretty good. I liked the fact that the series went back to its WW2 roots.

I've tried a few of them but i need good graphics, decent gameplay and minimal bugs when i play. That's i mostly stick with the AAA titles.

if you rush through the game and play mostly the main story, it should take you around 6 hours.

if you want more of that great gameplay and dont have a giant backlog of games, then play it.

otherwise, pass it up. although it's a fun game it doesn't really offer anything new. it's actually worse than the original in pretty much every way except the graphics. the story is especially bad

Been playing a bit of Uncharted 4 PS5 version today .... Cottdamn, how is this game that released 6 years ago, still looks better than most games released on consoles and pc today. Insane lmao .... Naughty and Sony are truly a different breed when it comes to achieving games that have a cinema feel.

Recently, an official Ragnarok Online server for PC opened again, called Ragnarok Online GGH (Gravity Game Hub). Me and my girlfriend have been playing, and damn it's full of people. It's just like the old RO days at its peak. Missed this so much. Adventurers everywhere esp. in popular leveling places. Player stalls in towns. Really feels like you're in a fantasy world. Crazy that after 20 years, it's still one of the best anime-style MMOs around.

Think I am about halfway through UC4 on PS5 now and feel the same. Naughty Dog is just on another level.

Lost legacy looks amazing. Cinematic cutscenes included in that but I’m not as into the dialogue or story as much as the original series with Nate. 2 > 4 > 3 > LL and 1.

I am loving Triangle strategy. I’m normally not big into games that are this narrative heavy or turn based strategy games but I love this game.

Finished Metroid dread and it made me feel accomplished. This must be how the misc feels when they crush a new PR after all that hard work and effort they put into the gym! Yeah baebae!

Wwe 2k22 and shin Megami Tensei v also coming to my rotation here this week.

Learned the wonders of modding and created my very first mod. It's really fun, this can be quite addictive lol. I'm still on very surface level though. Just retexturing some images on adverts in Cyberpunk using some modding tools (for uncooking, rebuilding, and packing), and editing images with paint.net and photoshop.

Added anime/vtuber on some vending machines. So glad that the image is also being shown on the reflections.

Just started up a new DS2 playthrough after finishing Elden Ring. Immediately reminded of how much more punishing the series used to be lol. Elden Ring boss fights are the only things that got more difficult imo.

I stand by it, specially if compared to this game. This game is 20 years old and is still able to attract thousands of players to come online and play it, form parties and raids. Form/join guilds and go to war with other guilds. Set up their own character store in cities whenever they go afk (sleep or go out) to sell items to other players. economy is alive, has inflation and deflation at times just like in the real world. see other adventurers in dungeons also hunting monsters.

brb released in 2002 but still one of the most populated MMOs atm.

Neg me if after 20 years Elden Ring and Horizon is still played by thousands everyday lol

And whenever I see Elden Ring I just remember GRRM who chose to work on that game instead of finishing Winds of Winter which Ive been waiting on since I was like 21. Seriously, fuk that dude.

Plus Im not maidenless in this game

perhaps there is a difference between mmo's and "one and done" type games. not every game needs to be highly populated for a decade to be high quality

seems like a silly comparison tbh

It is a bit heavy with the left-wing propoganda (Black Panther'esque group team up with half-Jewish guy who killed his own racist father, against thoroughly evil Nazis) but the actual combat is loud and intense. I have played on the second hardest difficutly, and it is defo a challenge. On the hardest difficutly you have to restart the game if you die, which you will..alot, so phuck that.
