So just read the news with an open mind, don't believe much of anything, and live your best life. Conjecture like this is completely pointless and all it does it get you riled up over absolutely nothing.

Definitely a good outlook to take, but to rule out historical precedent for certain actions is turning a blind eye to the obvious.


Is this all due to NATO expansion at Russia's door step? I can safely assume no.

Is Putin using this as an opportunity to further some other agenda. Likely.

Do I think things could have been handled differently. 100%




At the end of the day, bias, and hypocrisy is an underlying theme in global politics. This case is no different, but I'll admit that I was quickly fooled into seeing the simple narrative as the only obvious reason or cause for the current conflict.

Either way, war is terrible regardless of how you look at it. Let's hope that now that war is at the door step of Europe, that cooler heads prevail going forward, and the situation is not made worse, and people all over wake up to the horrors of conflict, regardless of who is on which end, as there will always be innocent people suffering indiscriminately.
