I grew up near an air force base and there were nuclear missile silos all over. They are surrounded by prison fence and under a lot of surveillance. I knew some guys who worked on missiles too. I believe they are real. Also Colorado was in the fallout zone from the Utah nuclear testing. Why would they have them back in the day and then just destroy them and the technology? That makes zero sense.

Fallout from a nuke isn't nearly as deadly or long lasting as what you get from a reactor meltdown like Chernobyl. Tiny amount of radioactive material in a bomb, several tons in a reactor.

I used to work in the nuclear weapons storage area in Minot North Dakota. I have seen both Air Launch Cruise Missiles with their warheads and Intercontinental Ballistic Missile with their warheads (three per missile).

I was not any type of engineer or anything, I did not work on them. They could have been fake for all I know, but man that would be a chit ton of work just to convince an 18 year old Ironmanlet nukes are real.
