I don't think this was the case before but after 2020 BLM and COVID and how public perceptions were molded by Media and Internet propaganda it's hard to unswallow that red pill. However, I think with anything non-USA, such as the current Russia-Ukraine fiasco it's 50/50. Ghost of Kiev and stuff like that don't work anymore but I also think Russia is not doing as good as expected.
