Is cookies and cream the GOAT ice cream flavor?

SRS fkn thread.

You have rich creamy vanilla and heavenly blessed cream, mixed with soft Oreo(or knock off) cookies. When you get a chunk of cookie cream in a bite? Fuark misc hold me. Manufacturers try to get cheeky with jam packing chit into their ice cream, but is anything as refreshing as C&C?

Runner up goes to mint chocolate chip, great flavor.

Haagen-Dazs plain chocolate is where it's at for me. No need to overcomplicate things with waffle cones, pecans, fudge swirls, toffee, caramel, marshmallow, etc.

I can't eat a lot of chocolate ice cream in one sitting, as it gets "stale" for me, but I respect your lack of having fixings in it.

I don't eat much ice cream but the best flavor I've ever had was one called raspberry rumble. Srs good chit. I'm not into the decadent chocolate peanut butter fudge flavors of anything. Vanilla is good people, tho.

I've never been real big on it either, and if I do like it's generally only real fancy stuff with a bunch of shyt (ie chunks and swirls) in it that I like (ie Ben and Jerry's Half Baked or Chocolate Therapy...Ben n Jerry are cucks and I don't like to give them any money though).

If I'm going to eat junk food there are a shyt ton of other things I'd rather eat.

Ben & Jerrys Chubby Hubby or Denali Moose Tracks. My grocery store brand also has Mint Moose Tracks which is really good.

Baskin-Robbins peanut butter chocolate (in store only)

Also I have a vanilla recipe I stole and added candied hazelnuts too then spin in a pacojet I would put up in top tier and a few specialty shops like one in Maui that had this macadamia nut ice cream or Mitchell’s in San Francisco ube ice cream. But none of em really count unless it’s readily available imo !

I made this thread because I bought a BOGO from Smith's (Kroger) limited selection brand ice creams. Cookies and cream, and Denali moose tracks. The cookies and cream is one of my favorites for this flavor, I'll be buying it again. In the past I've had moose tracks, and I've liked them. However instead of GOAT PB swirls, they have these PB pellets in it. It might be a texture thing for me, but I'm not a fan. I'm defrosting the last half of it to put down the sink, ded fkn srs.

HD makes some great ice cream, I actually prefer them over B&G. They make a Bailey's cream brownie ice cream that's out of this world. However you peaked my interest in that recipe, that sounds great. Normally I stick to simple ice creams, but if a local or popular recipe gets my attention, I'll give it a try.

Off the shelf, C&C is top tier no doubt. I'd have a hard time picking an absolute fav though, love too much of it.

Chocolate ice cream with peanut butter swirls, not smashed up peanut butter chocolate cups. And agreed, Haagen Daz Coffee ice cream. I had the large HD coffee ice cream when my sister visited. She ate the whole damn thing, goes to the store the next day and buys the store brand coffee ice cream to replace it, I was like WUT! You're outta your mind. If I eat ice cream, it's gonna be really good ice cream that I really like. No worries about low carb, calories or protein ice cream.

Use to make my own ice cream, it's actually really easy to do. Had an ice cream maker at the time, but you don't actually need that. Just come up with a recipe with cream/milk, put it in a container and leave it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes and take it out and stir it. Repeat till it's solidifies to ice cream. Made Thai coffee ice cream was very good. Never seen that in a store.

Repped for HEB, that's one of their best flavors too. If you haven't tried their "premium" ice cream you should give it a shot:
