I think it is more a come to realization of the situation. Ukrainians fought hard. Harder than expected. The situation now looks like Russia is going to win and people don't want to see more deaths.

I’m not saying they should or shouldn’t, but seems like needless death, I don’t see any Russians starving to death, not like it’s some North Korean chithole, and they handed over the keys to Russia when they gave them the big guns.

It's a brutal fact that you can't win a war if you're not willing to suffer more deaths before the end. You didn't see Britain rolling over when the Nazis stormed through France, no matter how dismal the picture looked at the moment. t's up to Ukrainians, not internet warriors, whether or not they're willing to keep on and hope something changes.

I just find it pretty pathetic to see people who live in a nation built on fighting for freedom being so willing (for others) to capitulate so easily.

It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen man. These same guys are extremely Pro Trump(I used to be) and think the election was STOLEN and were furious about it. They now support Pootin and want people to see his side when Pootin has literally had men asissinated who were running and winning against him. He also had laws changed just so he can serve for a longer period of time. It’s a paradox because in no sane world should one be pro Trump and Pro Pootin.

I think that as long as he Russia doesn't hit NATO then the world will probably condemn it and do the usual BS but I don't think NATO will get involved. They will force Ukraine to surrender once they see no one is there to help.

Think about it, they drop a nuclear bomb in Ukraine, what then? NATO strikes Russia with a nuclear bomb? That's just MAD. Russia will say it's no different than what the U.S. did to Japan in WW2, they were suffering heavy losses, etc, etc and only way to bring their special military operation to an end.

don't forget all of the losses russia is taking. all the troops killed. all the money and equipment lost. this is even before the after effects of whatever other countries do to their economy

if it even affects them 30% i dont think it will have been worth it

i also think russia is quite vulnerable after this. if ukraine keeps fighting and taking their resources out, they're going to be weak

Nato has always had an open door policy. The “promise” refers to meetings nato had with gorbachev during the late 80s. Gorbachev has been on russin tv and publicly said that nato expansion was never discussed.

From a military standpoint, I think the current Russian equipment being used in the conflict is showing some serious weakness (on both sides)

1) Russian armor like the T-90 tanks and T-72 or the Ukrainian T-84 are being knocked out by modern ATGMs.

2) Russian helicopters like the KA-52s have shown vulnerability to effective ground fire (3 losses so far for Russians)

3) Russian airforce are conspicuously not using their Su-27 and 30s. Perhaps Ukrainian SAMs (S-300) pose a major problem or they are being held back in case NATO intervenes.

4) Russia's own SAM systems (Buk, Pantsir) are being knocked out by Turkish-provided Tb-2 drones.

5) On a positive note, both Russian and Ukraine are using accurate artillery fire rather than just carpet bombing an area.

I can only assume that Russia did not send their best tech because they did not expect much resistance. But if the conflict drags on, Russia might use more lethal technologies.

I agree with you, ukraine should fight until every last good man is dead, and hopefully Putins bombs will kill the innocent civilian women and child population quickly and painlessly.

Or hey better yet, let’s all get involved and really fuk this place up.

Putins a POS and enemy of America, but this was in the works for along time, and the innocent Ukrainian civilian population shouldn’t have to suffer for their governments INCOMPETENCE.

Exactly, I asked it as well. These cities will take 10 years to rebuild, the population that lives there will absolutely hate Pootin as well as West Ukraine. So where do you go from there?
