have said this in other threads; the average miscer has a very warped view of reality and a desperate need to be alpha
miscers think putin is alpha and is doing this cause the west is full of beta cucks
hence circle jerking

as utterly ridiculous as that sounds, and they're not going to admit it but that's basically the gist of it

Its obvious geographical importance to Russia
Repeated warnings from Putin
No logical reason for the US to be there, literally no positive outcome could come from it

The "it's politics, they both do it" argument is a false equivalence

"NATO is the mechanism for securing the U.S. presence in Europe."- US Secretary of State James Baker

Countless experts told us what we were facing if we continued to meddle, and they were ignored. Putin told us what would happen, and it is happening.

Can you not just admit that US meddling was reckless and unnecessary?
I'm giving you history lessons because you seem to have a serious problem with processing:

- how Ukraine has no realistic chance of joining NATO and the EU

- how East/West Ukraine has always been divided on the pro/anti Russian sentiment and them hating Putin and the Russian gov is absolutely natural and organic

- how Putin's intention was always bringing Ukraine back to the fold via a Belarus style puppet government and his dreams about a Eurasian Union that eventually fell through. See the 2004 elections where the first results showed Putin's pet Yanukovich - who was ousted in 2014 later on - as the winner but then after the protests and the recounts Yuschenko was installed as a president. I guess calling out election fraud in order to deter Russian expansion counts as "meddling".

- and how Putin's issue is that Ukraine is pro West neutral, and not pro Russia neutral

You also keep equating the Eastern expansion of NATO and the EU - see: former Eastern Block countries wanting to join the West and the West accepting them - as the West/US "meddling" in the region when it has no business to.

I do agree that installing those missile batteries in Poland and Romania was a bad move but to put all the blame on the US for "meddling" in the countries' affairs is a massive stretch and one simply can't ignore the anti Russian sentiment of the people and the governments in the region.

What are potential anti-west counter measures can Russia launch?

They do have a few options:

1. Legalize the illicit distribution of western copyright media/movies/music on Russian servers to anyone around the world. This can really disrupt American media companies if it's done in a highly organized manner.
2. Sell/share confiscated western armaments with North Korea, Iran, and China.
3. Sanction the sale of silicon-grade Neon to American silicon fabs to cripple the American silicon industry. This will be tricky to navigate as a lot of this capacity goes through Taiwan, but a feasible attack against new/upcoming Intel fabs in USA.
4. Build a nuclear-equipped military base in Brazil.

Where is the room for nuance on both sides, why is it always black and white for every political scenario? Is it possible both that USA is meddling and over extending its european influence, but also that Putin is pretty much an evil dictator that doesnt care for his people and is making a power grab, likely for his own name, at the expense of a country that really does not pose a threat?

Is anyone on either "side" able to walk away from their defense posts and actually use logic to discuss the complexities of this current fiasco?
Honestly, I think the only solution is to go back to the status quo. There is no chance of military victory so negotiations are the best alternative. Russian forces leave Ukraine and go back to Donetsk and Luhansk region (which is defacto theirs now). EU could hopefully accept Ukraine's membership (but I have doubts...the prospect of millions of Ukrainians flooding Germany, France, Belgium etc frightens them). US could also help rebuild Ukraine's infrastructure but again, it's doubtful since our own economic situation is lousy. Sanctions may hurt Russia, but in the long run, it will hurt us too so it will have to be rescinded eventually.

Great informative video with no bias

Great thread on the financial ruin that awaits Russians

The dollar absolutely mogging the Ruble. The ruble is for all intents and purposes USELESS

Schools absolutely destroyed by Russian bombing

more job losses in Russia

Great thread on how bad Russia's Maintenace is on their vehicles

Kharkiv absolutely gone, everything. What exactly does Pootin plan on doing with Ukraine with having destroyed all major cities? Refugees aren't going to come back and live here, the people still left will absolutely hate Russians with a passion and most likely try to assassinate any puppet put in. Pootin won't have the money to rebuild Ukraine either. He has made it useless for himself.

Basically everyone knows Putin is not a good guy and has done some terrible chit.

However, the "Russia bad" side haven't given a single credible reason for why he is invading Ukraine, other than he's "bad". Long-term occupation is not a realistic goal. All the facts and logic point to him needing to do something drastic to get the US out of Ukraine and to avoid having US controlled/NATO missiles a stone's throw away from Moscow in the not so distant future. That is clearly the way things were heading. Not a single person has answered why the US was meddling so heavily in Ukraine. Answer that question in your own brains and things will clear up.

Seems they got their marching orders last night from Pootin.

Regardless of anything else, imagine actually supporting Pootin and posting about it online. What kind of sad life you must live, lol. And these same guys supposedly support Trump and think the election was stolen from him in 2020. Delusion at its finest.

Not much they can do about the US, but EU/Europe is already getting buttfuked by record high gas prices that will most likely keep rising. Sanctions are fuking over both parties.

Not sure how any of the above could realistically be carried out/used to fuk with the West, but had a good laugh about distributing pirated media products.

You keep repeating yourself over and over, aren't you getting tired of that? You still never explained why he invaded Crimea in 2014. Here let me DIRECTLY QUOTE HIM for you.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annexa...ian_Federation

Vladimir Putin said that Russian troops in the Crimean peninsula were aimed "to ensure proper conditions for the people of Crimea to be able to freely express their will"

Doesn't mention a word about NATO. Ukraine wasn't even thinking about joining NATO in 2014.

I have to repeat myself because no one is answering simple questions because doing so would force them to give up some ground. And no one is willing to do that because this is the internet, and the internet is serious business.

Also answering a question with a question is not an answer.

If you are willing to take Putin's words at face value on Crimea, why not now? He's just ridding Ukraine of Nazis bro.

Do you really think 2022 has nothing to do with 2014?

Misc has some weird obsession with Putin. Nevermind he's an ex-KGB manlet who's been part of bringing about clown world for decades, somehow they think he's "the good guy" despite being a took of Xi and China's plans

Guy is an npc bro. As soon as you ask him some questions, he’ll never answer them, give you an idiotic response, then go silent for a few pages lol...

Ofc when he comes back he goes back to spamming his nonsense lmao.

Hes basically the conservative version of the blue haired homos that had a meltdown when trump won lmao. This entire thing to him is just something to play his identity politics, as if this has anything to do with left vs right.

He is killing two birds with one stone. He wants the old USSR back. He even said Ukraine doesn't deserve to be a Country. So yes, I think two of his primary goals was to take over Ukraine and destroy it, which he is doing, ive posted countless videos of the major cities in ruins now.

Ukraine was NEVER close to joining NATO, ever. It was still 10 years away if not more. If Pootin was truly worried about NATO then he will most likely invade Poland. He will also attack Sweden or Finland if they join NATO. Are you saying you understand if he does this as well?

Damn each side is accusing the other side of the exact same things over and over and over lmao. Each side truly believes it.

It probably is time to stop the arguing as I spent almost the whole day here yesterday and nobody budged an inch (unlike NATO hueheheu).

Filling the thread with endless arguments is definitely forcing people to leave and post/find info elsewhere. I'll just be checking back for info and updates from now on.

A bunch of posturing on both sides and Finland seems to hint at them moving to join NATO.

Hes basically the conservative version of the blue haired homos that had a meltdown when trump won lmao. This entire thing to him is just something to play his identity politics, as if this has anything to do with left vs right.
Since Putin came to power he’s been pretty consistent in having a pro Russian Ukraine. Now that that isn’t feasible through the presidency it looks like the plan is essentially to neuter Ukraine. Through control of the Black Sea & two buffer states in the east.

Now that he’s actually invaded we’ll probably see a reduced Ukrainian military too.

I have answered all of your questions several times, you just keep ignoring them because you keep sticking to the moronic idea that decades of political events do not matter, only the last couple of months/years.

But for your sake, I will try to keep it simple: the US started sending weapons because the Biden admin decided that after decades of Putin's bullchittery - including the recent build up along the Ukrainian border and his attempts to destabilize the region via the migrant crisis instigated by Belarus - NATO should put its foot down in the region.

You're still free to explain how the US was heavily meddling in whatever Ukrainian elections.

Ukraine as we know it is gone. I seriously doubt it will even be a Country again. They will have one major city still standing in Lviv. So I think your right in he has essentially neutered it and put the majority of it back with Russia.

Yeah ive told him multiple times it had nothing to do with NATO back in 2014, its only been recent. Ukraine in 2014 and before was Pro Russia and zero chance of even thinking about joining NATO.
