I know why I have it now. It’s from stress. Specifically financial. Always had money problems, there was never that high paying job for me. And the job I did have I can’t even do now. But I’m also convinced covid did this to me. Right before these attacks I was getting over covid. Covid probably made my system weaker and more prone for the anxiety to come out. I never had these attacks until now. Right after covid. Is that a coincidence?

I suffer from a severe anxiety disorder. Anxiety 24/7.

Cognitive behavioral or dialectical behavior therapy is helpful, along with meds we can't discuss.

Hang in there!

Have you tried getting help naturally without medication? Has that helped. When I feel an attack coming I do some deep breathing techniques, I also started doing boxing when an attack felt like it was coming and that was helpful. But these are all just temporary relief.

Check this guy's letter out for anxiety, has alot of helpful info:
http://nothingworks.weebly.com/

tl;dr
-Anxiety is normal and exists from our caveman days
-Constantly checking or wishing your anxiety to go away continues the problem
-Ignore it, don't give it attention
-Basically move on with your life and it fades with time

His tips are consistent for all the times I suffered with anxiety. Eventually I stopped focusing on it and carried on with my life and I didn't notice it anymore.

Thank you so much for this. Whatever you guys can help with I can’t even explain how helpful it is. I’ll do anything to get over this. I’ve already quit caffeine instantly. So no more coffee for me. I’m eating completely different than I was. Bought a bunch of food that’s good for anxiety. My brain maybe needs to be rewired or something, it can’t hurt to try. I bought a bunch of suppliements that are good for anxiety. I’m hoping all of this helps me get through this. I still haven’t touched the medication I was subscribed and really hoping I can get through this without it.

I have an appointment with a therapist next week for some therapy. I don’t have insurance so this will be an expensive, but hopefully it helps.

Yea the letter is helpful. Eating heathy and taking supplements is good, but I would recommend not researching anxiety or "how to fix it". There is no magic pill or diet that is gonna fix it. It's the obsessive thoughts that kept it going. Once you tell your brain nothing is wrong by not reacting in fear, it will start to fade.

I'm still working through some anxiety issues myself right now, but I was anxiety free for years up until this point. It just takes time and knowing nothing is wrong.

I tried natural methods for 2 years including herbs, yoga and meditation before I finally succumbed to medication. I just had such a severe case of anxiety with stomach pain where I was nearly doubled over, burning skin and flu-like symptoms. I feel them return when my medication wears off and they’re pure hell. At least I get a relief though.

My worst nightmare. Was seeing some progress yesterday and today it’s turned into the worst ever. This doesn’t seem possible the natural way. Fml.

I almost felt like I was gonna beat this last night. And now no sleep. How to ho from a high to a pos. So much pain. Christ. Why.
