Uh yeah there's really no comparison. Horizon series is boring af compared to elden ring. Just my opinion. I think mechanical animals are dumb af, and everything about hzd was the worst writing possible.

I live in a 3rd world country where there's a big divide between wealthy and poor folks. The ones who have to struggle don't look like that model I'll tell you that. You're talking from the experience of someone who never had to witness people working hard all their live in very rural areas and often time chitty living conditions. If it doesn't make sense to you, go look up vids of tribal women in the Amazon and tell me if their faces are dainty and small or more squared off and masculine.

if they look the same to you, that's fine. it seem like maybe your previous comment towards me was relating me to the guys who were freaking out over light hair on alloy's face and such. That is not what I was saying as all. Real women have that.

Why would videogame alloy need to look more androgynous in the face? Ellen in Uncharted didn't need to look androgynous. The reeeeset people who have been saying, "muh alloy is based on a REAL MODEL, thats what women look like you incels" is putting up a straw man...... because Alloy doesn't really look all that like the women who she is modeled after. It's not a huge deal. I still enjoyed the first game. I was just shocked when I finally saw the women she was modeled after and how different her facial structure is.

And to your point about amazonian tribes... they look like that because of their GENES. Modern middle class people don't look good due to "western" diets and lifestyle. The ones that do look good, look good IN SPITE of ****ty processed foods and lack of general exercise in modern life.

You're missing the big point that Aloy is a clone. Her facial structure should be nearly identical to that of her 21st century counterpart. Generations of living in the wild should have no effect on her overall appearance since her genes have been protected against degradation of a worsening environment.

Lmao you just sound mad. Have you played it? I’ve never even played a fromsoftware game and absolutely love ER. My favorite rpg ever to date was Witcher 3 but ER may take that title before it’s all said and done. Everyone has preferences but your evaluation of people who like ER is far off. I didn’t care for Skyrim that much either, played it for a cpl of hours and never really got into it.

It does look dumb af. I haven’t played it though. I did watch about an hour of it on twitch and it looked exactly as bad as I’d imagined. The mechanical animal stuff is terrible imo. Lacks creativity and has been done to death. Idc that it’s a girl or what color her hair is, her hair looking alive was worse than any of that. Not to mention the sjw vibe. No surprise ER shiits all over it.

LOL @ the hate that this game is receiving. One of the best games ever was the first one, gameplay and variety was just on another level. Uncharted is not the same game as Horizon. Can't compare people from both games as they have wildly different experiences.

I'm not only talking about Amazonian tribes, you ignored the part where I said I'm from a 3rd world country and I'm sure you think everyone in poverty who has to fight for survival have time to perfect their beauty but I assure you that a hard life definitely leaves a strong mark on skin and physical features being weathered and beaten. It would completely break immersion to have a 9.5/10 gorgeous model with the body of a 12 year old boy running around in the jungle taking down giant robots as well as grown human men.

Of course Aloy, a fighter and someone who has to use her body to survive more than 99% of men today would have higher test levels than some beauty queen. Your reality for those primitive humans are ruined by your perceptions of modern beauty standards.

I never expected her to be dolled up. I wasn't ignoring your other point, I just incorrectly assumed it was all the same point.

And a farmer girl from 1000 years ago who does manual labor 10 hrs a day won't look all that different to the same girl in a modern setting. Aloy doesnt have "higher test" due to her environment that makes her face look like that NBA player Braney posted lol. That's not how that works.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in this forum and this is the gaming forum. Someone who lives in the jungle, eating scraps, fighting large animals, warring with other tribes etc will be severely weathered and beaten compared to a dainty perfect skin supermodel/actress in 2022. In order to survive these kinds of conditions your body tends to adapt. If a woman comes from a few generations of women warriors living in the jungle in harsh survival conditions you can bet your ass off they will develop the muscle tones and toughness in order to survive in their environment.

Aloy has been training her whole life to survive while miss model has been going to school, pageants and taking selfies and partying every weekend. Lifting weights is probably your biggest hardship in life, if you think both women would look exactly the same.

It's the same weak incel take when I hear these game nerds cry about why can't all women in videogames be gorgeous so they can fap over it. I'm glad the devs gave her a more realistic look of someone you'd expect in that setting. If some dainty noodle arm princess was taking down these big tribesmen it would look really stupid.

Not being coomerbait is one thing, but devs have been pulling the "male character gets modeled after handsome face model dude while female character gets turned into bloated Bogdanoff monstrosity" for quite a while now.

Happened with Aloy, happened with whatever was happening in MS:Andromeda, happened with AC Valhalla and whatever this was supposed to be in Dying Light 2.

I'm not talking about her skin or having any muscle. So no, sorry, but it's not the same "weak incel take" about her not looking like an unrealistic women. I just don't think she has a more "realistic look".

And outward gene expression to that extent typically takes more than a "few generations". and put the model in harsh conditions and she won't look like that. that's literally not how an individual would adapt to that. "partying it up" and living a non-stressful life vs having a more difficult time surviving does not lead to those two wildly different faces. It would lead to video game alloy being in better shape and some scars..

i don't get why aloy needs to look like some androgynous person, but you get upset over Thor in GOW being fat.


But it's no problem. We just see it differently. Crazy this all started just because I made one short comment with the observation that they took the person she was based on her and uglified her (I didn't say added some muscle, took away makeup and made her skin not as clear). Difference is I'm not calling you dumb.
