Gas prices soaring. what’s everyone driving to save monies and how much to fill up

I’ve got an f150 with the 32 gallon tank. Costs about 120 to fill up atm.

But I drive my Toyota Matrix on the daily. Use 87 and it cost about 30 bucks to fill up. it actually has a lot of room. 1.8L engine.

Teslas are absolutely winning atm

So to combat Thanksgiving dinner being so expensive just don't eat Turkey

To combat gas prices just walk or ride a bike everywhere?

Also if you saved that .16 cents from July 4th that will come in handy

My truck has a 34 gal tank but I'd have to do math to know how much it costs to fill up
Just wait till the handle clicks off and it's full. You probably shouldn't have multiple cars if you have to worry about gas prices, sell the pickup

Got a little lucky and filled up @ $3.99/gallon this morning. It was $4.19 a couple hours later. It’s not even summer yet. Keep that in mind.

-09 F150 4x4, 4 door long bed with the 5.4 V8, on 33's....dash says I'm averaging 13.8mpg on 89
-72 Skylark with a big block 455 that gets about 7mpg on 93...and that's not trashing it.
-Wife's daily is a 2wd 2020 Cherokee with the V6, she drives conservatively and mostly on the highway and her dash shows she's averaging like 27-28mpg

I work from home and only drive about a mile to the gym and about a mile to the store....Lowes/HomeDepot is about 2 miles away. Cant remember the last time I filled up.... We take her car on trips. She's driving about 50 miles roundtrip right now.
