Yup. Gaining back a fraction of those jobs is nothing to brag about; regardless of the body in the White House.

As I said, that's more complicated. The variables within 6 weeks do not change; after two years, they most certainly do. I'd say if all those scrubs that earned $15K more by being unemployed than rather than fixing your tacos at Taco Bell have gotten back to work, then that's something to brag about, but let's face it; they have not gone back to work.

Cool. How many people who were getting $600 per week in unemployment are now currently employed?

I show unemployment is still higher than COVID. It's a very simple indicator that we can all agree on. We are still down .4%, a very simple metric.

Do you actually have anything to show such as data points or legislation or is this too much for you? Bring more than the limp wristed stuff

Economists Credit Trump as Tailwind for U.S. Growth, Hiring and Stocks

https://www.wsj.com/articles/economi...cks-1515682893

The majority of economists surveyed said Trump is "somewhat or strongly positive for job creation, gross domestic product growth and the stock market.” They gave Obama “mixed” marks on job creation and low marks on GDP growth.

Regarding long-term growth potential, the economists gave Trump "neutral or positive” marks while they gave Obama overwhelmingly “negative” marks. They said Obama’s regulations "came at a cost to economic growth.” Obama’s lack of innovation also earned him very negative marks.

The economists cited Trump's tax reform bill and his actions to cut regulations as very positive influences on the economy.

The economists also cited Trump's actions on taxes and regulations as being very helpful for businesses, which in turn benefits the economy as a whole.

Lol.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/wh...rs-11611170249

The median number of jobs created each month during Trump’s first three years in office gives a perhaps better indication of how the economy performed under his administration. The median gain each month totaled 197,000, a bit higher than the 186,000 monthly median over Obama’s two terms.

Of course, we also won't be forgetting the fact that under Trump, we enjoyed the lowest unemployment rate in a half-century, a 50 year low in jobless claims, a five-time gain in middle class income than under the previous horror show, and 40 straight months of more job openings than hirings.

Oh, and there was that little inconvenient fact that minority unemployment reached a historic low - something that oddly (not really) never happened under the first minority president.

Oh, we're back to the POTUS is responsible for debt game? Because oddly, you've said repeatedly that Barack Obama (the worst, most corrupt POTUS in American history prior to this current illegitimate abomination) wasn't responsible for his own signature on spending bills that he requested and signed into law. Funny how that changes.

Of course, the reality is that Obama racked up nearly as more debt than all presidents before him combined.

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/13/that...lly-means.html

President Barack Obama’s administration racked up nearly as much debt in eight years than in the entire 232-year history of the country before he took office. He entered with $10.6 trillion in total debt and left with the country owing $19.9 trillion. That’s an average tab of $1.16 trillion a year.

Under President Donald Trump, the debt also has climbed. The $2.06 trillion increase works out to about $991 billion a year, or slightly less than the pace Obama had set.

Lol. Another disproven myth.

https://taxfoundation.org/final-tax-...tails-analysis

"The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act reduced average effective income tax rates for filers in every one of the IRS’s income brackets, with the largest benefits going to lower- and middle-income households," the report stated.

"For example, after accounting for all tax deductions and credits, filers with an adjusted gross income (AGI) of $40,000 to $50,000 received an average tax cut of 18.2 percent," the Heartland Institute said.

"The IRS data further show that the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act appeared to have a strong upward effect on economic mobility," the report noted. "The number of filers with an adjusted gross income of $1 to $25,000 decreased by more than 2 million in just one year, while the number of households reporting incomes higher than $25,000 increased in every income bracket."

The Heartland Institute highlighted that "higher-income earners paid an even larger share of the total tax burden in 2018 than they did in 2017, indicating that the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act may have made the tax code slightly more progressive."

The available evidence is clear: Based on tax data from 2017 and 2018, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act reduced taxes for the vast majority of filers, led to substantial improvements in upward economic mobility, and disproportionately benefited working- and middle-class households, many of which experienced tax cuts topping 18 percent to 20 percent.

Hell, even the Washington ComPost awarded Nancy Pelosi "two Pinocchio's" for trying to push that laughably false claim that only the rich bennefitted from the tax cuts.

Obama challenged the entire room of 160 Republican Senators and Congressmen to sit down and go thru the budget line by line with him and not one had the balls to take him up on it. Lie behind Obama's back but back down when face to face with him. They're cowards like all conservatives.

Yeah, no. You've tried and failed repeatedly using that video multiple times in the past. There's no such thing as "future debt", nor have you ever accounted for the exploding debts that Barack Obama was responsible for by affixing his signature to the spending bills he himself requested and signed into law (especially during the first two years when he had a majority in both Congress and the House and had the ability to enact anything his party wanted. Oh, and the fact that the POTUS enacts and executes ALL federal spending.)

You lose. Try again.

The Trump era had basically a feeling of return to normalcy in the economy. It was like a 70 degree and mostly sunny day. A temporary stop in the decreasing labor force participation. Good, but not as great as many GOP retell it. But there are so many drains on the US economy that it's amazing we didn't have another recession several years ago.
