As for Azov: that's 100% russian lies and propaganda. I have a friend serving in Azov, he is literally a chad that left his job in tech in 2017 and joined the military to defend his country.

Civilians are not armed anywhere except Kyiv afaik. Russian attacks on residential buildings cannot be justified in any way, trust me. Those are war crimes.

Last week I relocated my family to a safer city in central Ukraine that is not being shelled / attacked. It took us 10 hours to travel the distance that normally takes 2 hours. A lot of people were escaping from Kharkiv after an especially grueling day of shelling (March 1), so the traffic jams on the highway were terrible.

The gas stations near the city were empty and we were really worried that we could run out of gas in a traffic jam in the middle of nowhere. The nearby hotels were obviously all sold out, but we were fortunate that the hotel administrator offered us a room where the hotel staff sleeps and didn't even ask for money. It was not heated and the bedsheets were already used by someone else before us but were super happy and grateful for this place to sleep.

From what I see Kharkiv looks terrible, but I am sure we will rebuild it, a lot of people will volunteer to clean the streets etc. The checkpoints are on the intercity roads (a lot of them).

Yes, this sucks for Ukrainians. But its also a wakeup call to be more educated. To get involved in politics. To understand military tactics. Fleeing today is easier. Back then it brutal. Time to rebuild for Ukrainians.

hey brah, thanks for your support. Everything is fine since I moved to another city. Here we have enough gas, food etc. Air raid sirens can be heard daily, but no bombing of the city so far, fortunately.

I have a friend that fights in Mariupol these days. Haven't heard from him since March 5. The city is encircled, there is no electricity, no GSM / internet connection, practically every building in the city is either damaged or destroyed. But the Azov spec ops detachment still fights fiercely. You can google what is going on there.

I really hope my friend and his comrades get out of it safe.

From listening to OPie it sounds like they are moving forward. I personally believe Putin is probably taking it slow and easy to avoid backlash.
