How to handle (like an adult) dude from gym making my wife uncomfortable SRS

Some douche has recently starting just shooting the chit with her and now she's telling me its making her uncomfortable.

-He talks to her only when I'm not there and has approached her in Kroger every time I'm not there.
-He wont talk to her when I'm at the gym and he doesn't even say hi when WE see him at the store.
-Culminated yesterday when he asked for her Instagram. She said "I didn't know what to do so I told him what is was" she showed me and said she's not going to accept the request....which he sent to her literally as he was walking away from her as I was walking in.

I'm to a level of maturity that I wont handle this like I would have 10 years ago, but it's starting to piss me off just at the level of disrespect. I am in no way threatened or worried by this, but the fact that she says it makes her uncomfortable makes me know it's time to intervene. We're both mostly extraverts and the social type and neither of us like confrontation so we are pretty "go with the flow" and can talk to anybody but again this dude is creeping her out.

In b4 all the typical misc bs.....but looking for a legit mature way of handling this.

Just straight up tell him your wife is uncomfortable and you'll only say it nice this one time to leave her alone. She messed up giving him her Instagram, he probably thinks shes into him now.

I wrote up a proposal for my boss and he finally got back to me. He said “ okay the content is there but you need to use simpler words, this isn’t the Art of War.”

I am of Asian descent and I think he uses a text reference from that region because of my race. I am offended. Will this go anywhere?

That’s funny op cos there is this sloot at the gym who’s been giving me the “fk me” eyes for a while. Today she started showing off her ultra filtered, ass pics on Instagram and that I should add her.

She’s waiting for the right time to accept my request though because she doesn’t want her husband to see.

Wut do?

Walk up to him, look right to his eyes and say:

"Hey man, dont want to make a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be, i just want to ask you to stop talking to my wife, trying to add her on social media etc, okay?"

Most likely he will look down and just say "okay man sure" or something like that, but there's a chance he gets weird and agressive or passive-agressive, so be ready for that.

edit: also your wife is weird for giving her real insta. Women in 2022 are experts at rejecting guys, they get approached by simps daily everywhere they go. Hard to believe that this would be her first rodeo.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

bsmit07, I have dealt with this before.

Guy was an ex-bf but when we were engaged, he started texting her, and she wouldn't respond and blocked him on different social media sites. Then he texted her from someone's elses phone and whatnot. I finally just texted back on her phone something along the lines of "This is Lucas. You are not with her now. She is not interested in you. Do not text her again."

I don't really know why, but that worked. Just a direct command, but I didn't name call or say anyting else. He left it alone for good after that.

I planned on threating legal action if he ignored me, but it never got to that point.

*bend him over the next time you see him at Kroger's to assert dominance"

IDK, seems like a situation that can instantly be resolved with two words "fuk off"

or if you want to go the more amicable route, just address him directly and say you're making my wife uncomfortable. but realistically this should have been something your wife should have handled on your own without having to drag you into it. Just be direct enough so he gets the message but not disrespectful where he tries to do some crazy chit

inb4 the guy is some creepy serial rapist

Well if youre both extrOverted, then next time you bump into him ask him if he would like to bump into you.

By that I mean offer to have a threesome. If he says YES then ...strong likelihood is interested in your wife. If he says NO then at least you'll know that you misconstrued his intentions.

It's not about you brah, it's about your wife asserting herself. Does she assert herself in other areas of her life? Does she assert herself with you?

Why is she suddenly afraid of asserting herself with some random dude?

If she's the kind of sloot who hands you her ballot when it's voting season or wants you to order for her 100% of the time, this situations makes sense. Otherwise, she is slooting.

I wouldn't go so far as to invite him to do something. But just go approach him together, have her be like "have you met my husband...?" and don't be all "don't talk to my wife" be friendly. Do it a few times, maybe go talk to him solo just to say hi. I will bet his attitude towards her changes quickly

Next time, tell your wife not to give her InstaFail out to people she doesn't like. And maybe learn how to ignore unwanted conversation.

These are along the lines of what I was thinking.

I've dealt with this before, with other girls and when I was younger/dumber and more apt to just be an *******, but I'm not trying to make a bigger deal out this.

I know what making this thread on the misc was going to come with.....and I know how I'd respond to the thread if I was on the other side of it.....so I'll take the good with the bad.

"My man, sorry to cut you off but i'm trying to finish my workout" and proceed with whatever exercise you were doing.

Do this enough times and the guy will stop approaching you at some point, but your wife is quite clearly on the spectrum.
