Adam is an amazing frontman. So much energy and gets the crowd going. Loved them in concert. I also have to say Walst did a great job as frontman the last two times I saw them back in 2019. But it's just not the same as Adam.

Shinedown is amazing but different. Can't wait to see them again next month.
I hope you're just taking your grandkids.

Likely a chitty sound engineer. Honestly, most rock concerts I've been to have sounded like complete chit other than Rob Zombie.

Something is always overpowered or underpowered.

edit - vs OP's original challenge i'd go with my guys Hollywood Undead. they were my number one back in the '07-'12 days.

Nah, I've been to tons of concerts and the sound is fine. The last couple BB concerts Ben is drowned out and someone else in the band sings a bunch of songs. I think it has to do with Ben having issues with his voice.

Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees is the one who just died last month. He was also in Mad Season, which was this super grunge group.

The grunge guys are all dying so young

The Seattle Times wrote Layne Staley's obituary 3 years before he actually died. I don't know why heroin was so popular in Seattle.

------------

The post grunge guys rock such as:

Collective Soul
TOOL
Creed
Rage Against the Machine
Staind
I'm going to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers this summer

TOOL just had a big tour.

RATM has about 4 good songs, you're right. I like most of TOOL's songs, although this last concert wasn't as good as the others as they didn't play much from Aenima, which was their breakthrough hit album IMO.

I just saw that it was released in 1996. Gosh what happens to the years. GOAT time before social media.
