So, early on, it's great and can slow down or outright stop the virus from spreading. If you're in the hospital already, like many of the anti-Ivermectin 'studies' used to discredit it, then it serves no purpose. The virus has already replicated and spread all over your body.
I say it's fairly obvious they knew what they were doing when they cherry picked the time to administer it and declare it useless, because they all picked later stage patients who were already in rough shape.

Across all the studies, a trend appears. When the studies are more scientifically rigorous with a larger cohort, the effects are less pronounced. That pattern tends to hold true for medicines which actually aren't that effective.
It's true that some of these larger studies notice some weak effects, but none are touting this as some hidden miracle cure. The conspiratards rant that this is some suppressed miracle cure, but all the big pharma companies have studied in clinical trials, you can see the huge amount of peer-reviewed work on it, and AFAIK there are dozens of ongoing trials for it.
I don't know of any large and systematic trial which has a clinically relevant outcome, like mortality, sickness, recovery etc. There are in vitro effects like lowered virus titer in cell culture and stuff, but you wouldn't even look at these if the treatment is effective. Likewise, you wouldn't need more people in a trial with hundreds of participants to figure out effectivness.
Conclusion? Ivermectin has been given a fair and extensive analysis. The effects are weak and mostly clinically irrelevant.

Did anyone actually go to Chitstain's link? I don't see the ivermectin studies. It's just a link to their site?

Again, this particular study found Ivermectin to be an effective covid prophylactic. There's no "diverting it away from those who need it" either, it's extremely cheap to make and plentiful, you disingenuous degenerate.
If you're going to participate in this thread, respond to this particular study and tell me why it and its findings are illegitimate. That's right, you can't.

You see, I've become very disinclined and unenthused with debate on these topics around here, since we've been repeatedly offered junk science articles with bad methodology, obvious errors, poor design published in predatory journals that deserve retraction. Just within the last fortnight I shredded the two claims the spike protein was getting into the nucleus and the vaccine was inducing reverse transcription. On top of that, the insufferable rudeness and childish tribalism of the pureblood crowd just compounds the frustration. And the mentality that you're some sort of special non-conformist clique (utterly oblivious to the fact this is exactly what loser goth kids whom no one likes behave like too) and this completes the trifecta of futility.
respond to this particular study and tell me why it and its findings are illegitimate. That's right, you can't.
Ah, but I can. I'm just losing patience with the purebloods seizing upon badly-designed studies from the fringe, predatory journals to vindicate their pretensions. I'm going to reiterate what BOLA said plus a bit more. There's a flaw in the propensity matching; since they created a propensity score for mortality but did not exclude people who were on Ivermectin already, but theycontrolledfor it. Which is nonsensical given the voluntary prophylactic application, it's a very strange trial design and this should be caught in peer review; as long as someone with proper scientific competency can read it.
Furthermore, the biggest red flag is that this is not an RCT-Randomized Control Trial. There's no randomization, no pre-registration, no blinding, no concealment of group allocation, mismatching of groups who received/didn't receive Ivermectin etc. Taken together it won't pass review in an actual quality journal which holds the authors to standards for statistics and study types. Also, as BOLA suggested, it's in a region with prolific parasitical infections so of course an anti-parasitical drug will help with outcomes since they won't have to fight off both Covid and parasites. That's a confounding variable.
Also worth noting is that there is a significant conflict of interest with one of the groups the authors are affiliated with; connections to pharmacies and doctors selling Ivermectin and online consultations etc.
In conclusion, I have to reiterate my suggestion to give it up with the conspiratorial thinking. It makes you subject to extreme confirmation bias and you end up falling for stuff like this. FYI, I'm not even an expert in this stuff. I majored in biochemistry and cell biology, but my Masters and PhD are on rather different topics.

Have you taken an equally hard look at the study done to support the mRNA treatments?
- results were not even "controlled" for study participants previously infected [pre-existing naturally acquired immunity]
- higher fatality in the treated vs. non-treated groups
- blind was broken [per whistle blower]
- control group was discarded/treated with injections
- more Severe Adverse Events than perhaps any prior treatment or vaccine for a drug that is/was still on the market
Reported negative health events w/less than 3 months use:

And the seriously disturbing thing is Remdesivir is an approved antiviral treatment for covid instead of Ivermectin.
Remdesivir - 26% death rate for people who take it because it is toxic to the body, has shown none of the positive results from studies that Ivermectin has, it has not been shown as safe or effective (precisely the opposite essentially).
The difference is Remdesivir is under patent and sells for $3000/dose, while Ivermectin is not under patent and is $0.14/dose.
Talk about a narrative collapse lol...Bodhy you are fukn clueless mate, don't know what to tell you. Are you a paid shill posting for Big Pharma on here?

excerpt:
UNITAID is a not-for-profit organization whose website states that it “connects innovators who develop better health products with people who need them the most.” It is been heavily funded by the Gates Foundation.
Both Dr. Hill and Dr. Lawrie completed separate analyses and the results for both were exciting. There seemed to be a real benefit to using Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID. Both concluded that the reduction in deaths could be as much as 60 to 85%.
In January 2021 Dr. Hill was among the scientists who testified in support of Ivermectin the NIH’s COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel. Subsequently, the NIH changed its recommendation from against the use, to neither for or against the use, the same designation given to convalescent plasma and monoclonal antibodies, both of which have been subsequently used for COVID. Ivermectin continues to carry that recommendation on the current NIH website.
Then something odd happened. Dr. Hill finally released a preprint of his meta-analysis, with all of his data. But the conclusion of the paper questioned the quality of the data and called for more research. Here is a link to a documentary that describes these events, and includes a video of the actual meeting of Hill and Lawrie. It is completely infuriating.
During the meeting, Dr. Hill admits that people from UNITAID had input on his conclusions. You can observe his demeanor and draw your own conclusions.
Another interesting fact: shortly after all this, Dr. Hill’s parent organization, Liverpool University, received a $40 million grant… from UNITAID.This was to set up the “Centre of Excellence for Long-acting Therapeutics” which would appear to be part of Dr. Hill’s department of Pharmacology. Coincidence?.....

Th study that Dr. Campbell specifically referenced, regarding the results, there is essentially ZERO chance they were random, meaning there was a 1/10,000 chance that the results were arrived at by chance.

Suppressing and trivializing Ivermectin...
Suppressing and trivializing anyone asking completely reasonable questions about vaccine efficacy and testing...
Trying to force and mandate shots that they profit hand-over-fist cash with, with no legal repercussions if anything were to go wrong...
Best case scenario it was mass murder through greedy negligence. They suppressed medicine that works to force experimental injections that were unproven to line their pockets. But in reality it was an intentional culling from psychopathic eugenicists hellbent on depopulation.

How much do you want to bet that every study that you find that says Ivermectin doesn't work, did not use a high enough dosing. For example, the first study says .4mg/kg. For a 200lb person that is only 36mg. The recommended dose for covid is 100mg every 12 hours.

Ask for a link showing the study where ivermectin was administered early and in proper doses and was shown to be ineffective.
This absolute imbecile can not and will not do it. Gets xis entire world view from headlines on CNN and known liars like Bodhy.

Without knowing anything else, I know from the about your are either completely retarded or your are duplicitous.Did you read a single thing I posted? Of course not, you've basically got the CT starter kit here: A shill accusation, "Need to wake up bruh" mentality. Now you just need tinfoil hat and a bowl of chicken nuggets.
I posted dozens and dozens of far more rigorous and well-designed studies showing there just isn't something there. Or, at most, a marginal effect which is not worth the risk of adverse effects. See, the anti-vax crowd have consistently offered up cool stories; poor studies with bad methodology, from obscure parts of the world in predatory journals. I showed this for two other anti-vax papers too. It raises red flags when we keep getting offered these junk science studies and Youtube videos from fringe ideologues; Robert Malone is an example.
There's no conspiracy here. It has significant risks to consider and whilst adverse effects aren't common, if you give it enough people you'll get a problem. Plus, it's an important drug for other reasons and we'd divert it away from those who need it, and that's unethical.
We've got a history of studying HCQ as an anti-viral, it simply doesn't work. This is why I recommend not doing conspiratorial thinking, because you keep looking for simple answers to complex problems. They also make you paranoid and hateful of others who are just trying to find the best answers in this mess too.

Thats not what I read on the FLCC website

Even here in CA the doctors know it's effective. My mom, who can't take the shot (she wouldn't even if she could) has had a standing order for ivermectin with her doctor in case she starts having any symptoms.
The only people and organizations that say it doesn't work have $$$ or power to lose.
