Calling out car/truck experts!! Manlet looking to buy a truck
I am looking to buy a truck specifically for fishing which is probably a retarded idea but I want to drive on sand as well as have the back bars on the bed to put my poles on top of. As well as bike. I was set in a Toyota Tacoma and I think I still am but I just saw a GMC Canyon drive by and looked it up and it seems like a good deal too. The thing is I heard American cars suck so I’m trying to figure out what the best vehicle would be and if I am being retarded by buying a truck just for fishing (if I can actually land a goddam job in May). I want a car that I can run into the ground and also is decently fuel efficient because Biden is a retard ****er . Tacoma is best deal right? The specs in google don’t tell you average mileage expectations over the vehicles lifetime
Need a midsize truck because manlet gotta reach the poles

Budget?
If you're making money, get a Toyota Tacoma or one of the Ford Ecoboosts if you're worried about fuel economy and it's gonna be a DD.
If you're poor, would get an older Tacoma.
Don't bother with a big gas v8.
If you plan to tow a 30 ft boat and trailer with your fishing poles, consider the Powerstroke. Not towing ? Don't consider the diesel...

No offense, but I don’t know how you’re going to fish out of a truck? Also you saying the word retarded multiple times in your post is super offensive to me since I lost my virginity to a retarded girl. Next time think before you post.

I own a 2021 silverado 1500 and I love it. Would recommend you test drive one.
My truck doesn't have the DFM chip in it due to the covid shortage, so I'm going to save up money to delete the DFM lifters so I can have the durability the 5.3 used to be known for

Tacomas hold their value to a point it's almost comical. Even before the BS we're dealing with now, you could buy a new one for a few grand over a used one but the used market was still strong as fuk.

I'm 5'7" and have a full size truck and can't reach into the bed, other than that I love having a full size.
I'm still on the Toyota bandwagon, though, and was looking at Toyota's back when I bought mine and the dealers arrogance ran me off. You just couldn't go wrong with a Tacoma.
