violent serial rapist caught in Toronto
Police have charged a Toronto man with more than a dozen charges related to two violent sexual assaults in Mississauga and Richmond Hill.
first assault happened around 12:00 a.m. on Sept. 27, 2013. A woman, 47, was assaulted after getting off a public transit bus in Mississauga. A man wearing a mask had a weapon, grabbed the woman and pulled her into a darkened area, where he sexually assaulted her.
a year later, a female was getting off a bus around 12:30 a.m. in Richmond Hill. The girl, 17, was approached by a man armed with a knife. The man demanded money, then dragged her about 50 metres into a field, where he sexually assaulted her.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone who may have been victimised by this accused or who has any information to come forward.

When looking for this news article, I came across an article for another serial rapist in Toronto, the York U rapist, from the early 2000's. Spent only 5 years in prison. Police announced he has a high chance of reoffending when he was released. He was last seen on Tinder in 2019.
