Not this time. I have made fresh egg noodles before but I keep some dried ones at all times.

I seared the beef short ribs in the instapot, then pressure cooked them in chicken bone broth for 30m.

I sautéed garlic, onions and ****ake mushrooms, then added all of the broth from the short ribs. Then shredded the short ribs and added to the sauce. Then sour cream, a very small amount of heavy cream and S&P. Slow simmered for maybe 30m while the egg noodles were boiling.

Nice man! I’m making beef stroganoff tomorrow, one of my top 3 favorite meals for sure.

This is the recipe I got from my grandma

1 1/2 lbs sirloin cut thin
8 oz mushrooms
3 tbsp oil
2 cups water
2 tbsp beef bullion
2 tbsp flour
2 tsp dry mustard
1 cup sour cream
Kitchen boquet (makes the sauce darker)

Paprika has very little flavor unless smoked or certain sweet varieties.

My wife hates Worcestershire so I make it without it and since she was helping me, I can’t hide it.

Beef Stroganoff is originally a Russian dishof sautéed pieces of beef served in a sauce of mustard and smetana (sour cream). From its origins in mid-19th-century Russia, it has become popular around the world, with considerable variation from the original recipe. Mushrooms are common in many variants.

Looks good OP. And from your recipe I don't even have to ask if you salted it properly.

And while homemade noodles are really good, they're such a PITA to make that you don't lose much by using high quality noodles from an Italian shop.

Homemade noodles are a pain but sometimes worth it. There is a local butcher here who’s wife makes homemade pasta and it’s heavenly. I can’t even come close to how good she makes it.
