The real reasons they slowed are that they don't want to completely obliterate civilian targets, and drones. Russians were unprepared for the next generation of warfare where small drones can fly in, blast your chit, then fly back without needing to be piloted. Best way to fight this is to have your own air-to-air combat drones, and they don't have any. They are fighting 20th century warfare against (Turkish) 21st century technology, so it will take them a bit longer.

Ukraine won't have an unlimited supply of these however, so they'll eventually get in barring more NATO shenanigans.They really can't make it any more obvious that they plan to false flag. Unfortunately, most will still fall for it and think it was Russia that did it.

Now to the 'hypersonic' weapons bs. There are no hypersonic missiles in breathable air air space. We already have missiles that can reach 6k mph for sustained flight. Probably a bit more. One that now goes a little faster does not make it hypersonic. It may be fast enough to currently avoid 87% of the countermeasures but it ain’t hypersonic. There has been no “leap” in that technology. It is/was an idea that never quite worked out or yet..Just like rail gun tech. Sounds good but the in atmosphere physics are dam difficult to get around.
